A.D. West Dance Company Guidelines and Rules for Dance Season 2024-25
First day of classes will begin on Saturday, August 10th.
ATTIRE for CLASS:
- Leotard: Black (Short sleeve)
- Tight: Skin tone Convertible (to match flesh of dancer)
- Shoes
* Ballet shoe: Canvas Skin Tone (to match tight) NO PINK or BLACK TIGHTS!!!
* Lyrical: Half-Sole Skin Tone (to match tight)
* Jazz Shoe: Black Slip-On
* Tap Shoe: Black (to be determined by class level)
* Hip-Hop: Sneaker with support; performance shoe to be determined!
* Dancer should arrive dressed for class with dance shoes and other items in a bag with a zipper to secure items.
* Dancer should bring water to class.
* Dancer should be dropped off and picked up on time.
- Dancer will be given hand sanitizer once they arrive.
- Dancer should wear street shoe into the building (suggestion: slide in style shoe). Dance shoe should not be worn outside.
- Items left at studio will be disregarded daily.
- Inform studio immediately, if dancer will be absent from class.
PARKING LOT
* NO PARKING IN FRONT OF THE BUILDING. YOU MUST PULL INTO A PARKING SPACE to keep a clear and safe pathway for dancers to exit and enter the building.
* PLEASE DO NOT SPEED in the PARKING LOT.
Please do your part to make sure the studio is a safe environment for dancers and the staff.

Dates and Deadlines for Dance Season 2024-2025
Our 30th Year Dance Season will begin in August and end on the day of Recital in June
Classes will meet weekly.
Studio will be CLOSED for the following:
* Douglas County School System schedule for holidays and school break closings
* Hazardous and inclement weather conditions.
- Additional classes will be scheduled to compensate for closings due to bad weather days.
* A.D. West Dance Company Day * November 7th and November 8th
Performance Dates:
* Winter Performance * Sunday, December 15th
* Spring Dance Recital * Saturday, May 31st
Monthly Tuition
Due by the 1st of the month and should be paid no later than the 7th day of each month to avoid a $15.00 late fee.
Costume Fees
- Costume fees for Winter Performance will be due by November 2nd 2024
- Costume fees for Spring Recital will depend on the number dances performed. The
fee should be paid in full by March 2025.
Performance Fees
- Winter Performance is due November 30th 2024
- Spring Performance is due by May 1st 2025
Fundraising opportunities will be available for those interested in participating. Looking forward to an exciting dance season!

Insurance/Injury Waiver
I, _________________________________________, as the parent or guardian of a child participating in A.D. West Dance Company so hereby release, acquit, hold harmless, and forever discharge A.D. West Dance Company, its agents, Dance Instructors, staff, and all persons natural and corporate, in privities with them or any of them from any and all claims or causes of action of any kind whatsoever including but not limited to actions, suits and /or claims from any bodily injuries, death, or property damage which may be sustained by _______________________________________, my child while participating in any dance activity, including travel to and from such activities, not resulting from the intentional tortuous act or acts of any agent, staff, or employee of A.D. West Dance Company. It is acknowledged that the decision to engage in the Dance Program is entered into freely, and that A.D. West Dance Company, its agents, Dance Instructors, staff, and all persons, natural and corporate have not influenced the decision to engage in such activities.
