SOCIAL MEDIA & COMMUNICATION POLICY
Purpose and Scope:
This Social Media and Communication Policy is designed to guide Acclaim Dance and Cheer Co. students in using social media and other communication channels responsibly and in a manner that reflects positively on the studio. It emphasises respect, integrity, and the protection of the studio's reputation.
Representing Acclaim Dance and Cheer Co.:
When identifying as a student of Acclaim Dance and Cheer Co., be mindful of your online presence and ensure that your conduct aligns with the values and standards of the studio.
Avoid making statements that may be perceived as representing the studio without proper authorization.
Respect and Positive Communication:
Treat fellow students, instructors, and staff with respect and courtesy in all online interactions.
Refrain from engaging in negative or disrespectful conversations on social media platforms.
Confidentiality and Privacy:
Respect the privacy of your fellow students and instructors. Do not share personal information without consent.
Do not disclose or discuss any confidential information about the studio, its events, or practices on social media.
Content Sharing:
Obtain proper permission before sharing photos or videos taken during studio activities, events, or performances.
When sharing content related to Acclaim Dance and Cheer Co., use appropriate and positive language.
Cyberbullying and Harassment:
Do not participate in or tolerate any form of cyberbullying, harassment, or online negativity.
Report any instances of online harassment to the ADCC management.
Branding and Logos:
Do not use the studio's name, logo, or other branding elements in personal social media accounts without explicit permission.
Report any unauthorized use of studio branding on social media platforms.
Online Etiquette:
Be aware of the impact of your online presence on your personal and professional life.
Think before posting and consider the potential consequences of your words and actions.
Compliance:
Adherence to this policy is mandatory for all students of Acclaim Dance and Cheer Co.
