Welcome to KDC! To ensure smooth communication and a seamless experience, we have outlined the following rules and guidelines. Please read them carefully.
Communication
1. Dance Studio Pro:
For better communication between parents and the KDC team, we use Dance Studio Pro. Each student must create an account in the website.
2. Instructor Updates:
Instructors will update the review and progress card in Dance Studio Pro. You can reach out to our team through the app for any queries or concerns.
Class Schedule
1. Weekly Classes:
Classes will be held 4 times a week.
2. Makeup Classes:
As our classes are continuous and choreography-based, there will be no makeup classes at the same location.However practice video would be provided. Students can attend a class at another location if interested.
Payments
1. Monthly Auto Pay:
Payment is on a monthly auto-pay basis and will be deducted on the 8th of each month.
2. Drop-In Classes for Adults:
Only the Adults batch will have an option to drop in at $20 per class. Payment and scheduling must be done before attending the class through our website.
3. Payment Adjustments:
If a student needs to take a break or wishes to pay per class for any month, they must message through Dance Studio Pro before the 8th of that month to pause the payment.
4. Pro-Rated Payments:
If a new student joins mid-month, they will be charged only for the remaining classes of that month.
5. Rehearsal Fees:
Separate payments will be charged for any practice classes or rehearsals scheduled for performances.
6. Credit:
If all classes in a month are missed, the monthly fee (if deducted) will be credited toward the following month. However, if even one class is attended during that month, no credit will be given.
Performances and Recitals
1. Participation:
Only regular batch students will have the opportunity to perform at events and the annual recital.
2. Instructor Selection:
Instructors have the right to select students for any performance, and their decision will be final.
3. Costume Rental:
For most performances, KDC will provide costume rentals.
Class Rescheduling
1. If KDC cancels any class due to a performance or instructor unavailability, that particular class’s fee will be credited to the upcoming month. Note that WhatsApp messages might be missed.
2. If KDC postpones any class due to a performance or instructor unavailability, and if the student cannot attend the new class timing, then the class fee would be credited to the upcoming month.
Additional Guidelines
1. Attendance and Punctuality:
Students are expected to attend all scheduled classes and arrive on time.
2. Dress Code:
Students should wear appropriate dance attire as specified by their instructors.
3. Code of Conduct:
Respectful behavior towards instructors and fellow students is mandatory.
4. Health and Safety:
Students must inform instructors of any injuries or health issues before class.
5. Photography and Videos:
Photos and videos of classes or performances may be used for promotional purposes. Parents must notify us if they do not wish their child's images to be used.
6. Emergency Contacts:
Ensure that emergency contact information is up to date in Dance Studio Pro.
