Fleet-Wood Dancentre Inc. operates under the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them thoroughly and file them for future reference. We require your signature on the Registration Form indicating that you have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
RELEASE AND ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS
I have carefully read the TERMS AND CONDITIONS, which explain in detail how Fleet-Wood Dancentre Inc. operates. By signing, I agree and will abide by the Rules, Terms and Conditions and decisions of the Dance Director. I have no objection to my dancer’s picture being published without being named. I realize that dance training and the recreation activities planned by the Fleet-Wood Dancentre are athletic activities and may result in injury to my child. I hereby assume all risks in connection with such activities and release the Fleet-Wood Dancentre Inc., their officers, owners and employees from all liability for any injuries or damages whatsoever and from any claims by me, or my family, estate, heirs or assigns arising in any way from my child’s participation in or presence at the Fleet-wood Dancentre Inc. I have carefully read the foregoing Release and Acceptance of Terms and Conditions and sign it voluntarily with full
knowledge of its significance.
I understand charges of $10 per month will be added to incomplete registrations, NSF cheques, or late payments. I understand there is no refund once a payment has been processed. Ten days of advance notice is required to withdraw.
All post-dated cheques and credit card information are required for registration.
Refund Policy
There are no refunds once a payment has been received, processed, or cashed. 10 days advance notice is required if withdrawing.
Children’s Safety Code
Childcare is not provided, so please drop them off and pick up your children on time. Children under 10 are required to wait inside 65 Simcoe for parent pick-up. Please see the BLOCK SCHEDULE for start and finish times. Children are to enter at the MAIN Entrance to 65 Simcoe Street. EXIT will be at the back of the building, well-marked door. Parents to be visible or wait at this door. From Nov to March, there is room for 6 or 7 cars to cue up in the laneway & wait for all dancers to exit before pulling out. Do not block cars in the parking lot. The Entrance/Exit Door at the Anglican Church Hall is just down a bit on Ste, Marie, and will be clearly marked.
School of Dance
Fleet-Wood Dancentre is a Registered School of Dance affiliated with the Cecchetti Society of Canada and Dance Ontario. More than Dance Studio. Sharron Fleet, Dance Director, holds degrees from the Cecchetti Society of Canada and Cecchetti International, as well as additional Professional training from Canada’s National Ballet School Teacher Training Program. She also holds a “Member” status with the Scottish Dance Teachers Alliance and holds a Grade Eight piano position with the Royal Conservatory of Music. Season’s fees reflect the Dance Director’s training and over fifty years of teaching experience. Both Jonathan Fleet and Sierra Maraj Fleet graduated with extensive training from George Brown College Dance and Toronto’s Master Teachers. Cheques, Credit Card Insufficient Funds. $10 fee.June 2025 Recital, Costumes and Tickets
Your dancer is measured in January, and costume production begins. Custom fittings ensure a perfect fit (with growing room). The costume is yours to keep unless a rental from the Fleet-Wood Costume Collection, such as the Nutcracker, is part of your child’s costume. Recital tickets go on sale in April, and they are approximately $30 for all seats. Reserved Seating.
Please remove outdoor footwear at our reception door.
This is to prevent grease from the restaurant, grit, sand, etc., from reaching our special dance flooring.
Missed Classes, Cancelled Classes:
A quick text or email is appreciated…. Then, we can provide any information you may have missed. Parents can expect classes to be cancelled 2 or 3 times due to extreme winter weather and special Fleet-Wood obligations. Please remember that Fleet-Wood offers a lot of extras. Staff will provide many extra hours to supervise your child during extra rehearsals at the end of the year. Fleet-Wood Dancentre closes for all regular school holidays, such as Christmas and March break, as well as long weekends. Refer to DATES TO NOTE on all emails and Auto Reply.

Email Updates/ Newsletters were emailed to keep you informed. Please join REMIND (texting service) for important updates and winter weather closures.
Parent Office Volunteers
We are fortunate to have a group of committed parents at the reception desk. They can answer general questions and forward others to the Dance Director. They are not permitted to discuss any matters pertaining to the Dance Director's decisions, nor can they discuss the dancer’s progress, class placement, etc. They cannot give out confidential information.
