Arrival & Pick Up
Please arrive 5 minutes before your designated class time. Students must come dressed in their proper dance attire, since dressings rooms are not available. Masks are required to enter and exit the studio, and when using the bathroom. Students will wait outside their assigned studio, on the socially distant designated markings. Assigned staff will monitor the entrances and exits of all dancers. Staff will temperature check all students before entering the studio. Hand sanitizer provided by CPD must be applied before entering the studio. All lobby areas will be closed. Dancers, parents, or sibling will not be able to wait in the lobby.
Central Park Dance reserves the right to use the students name (or any fictional name), picture, portrait, or photograph in all forms and media and in all manners, including composite or distorted representations, for advertising, trade, or any other lawful purpose. Central Park Dance reserves also the right to inspect or approve the finished version(s), including written copies that may be created in connection therewith while participating in dance classes or any class or live performance offered by Central Park Dance Studio.
Building Closures/Inclement weather
Holiday closing for children/teen classes is included in the “Holiday closings” calendar on our website. In the event of inclement weather, classes may be canceled. Our class cancellations may differ from schools in the area. You will receive an email regarding closings and they will be posted on our social media page.
In the unfortunate event that COVID- 19 related situation may provoke us to close, all classes will resume virtually except Tot & I (2-3), Fairytale Ballet (3-4), and Hip Hop (3-5), & Petite Ballet (4-5). For these classes, you can receive a full refund or a credit on your CPD Account for the classes that are not taken.
There will be no refunds issued after 48 hours from your registration date.
All Tot & I (2-3), Fairytale Ballet (3-4) and Hip Hop (3-5) and Petite Ballet (4-5) classes have 14 days from the start of their first class to receive a full refund, if needed.
There are no refunds given for missed classes.
There is an annual registration fee of $35.00 per family.
Children's sessions and adult sessions are non-transferable.
For personal absences, not including holidays, Make Up classes may be taken within 30 days.
Makeups are appointments only. Please call 914-723-2940 to schedule your appointment.
Central Park Dance reserves the right to cancel classes.
