Policies

Missed Classes:

In the event that a student will be absent from class, we ask that you call or email to inform us of the absence.  Missed Classes will not be refunded. 

Statutory Holidays:

There will not be classes on statutory holidays as well as Christmas Break and Spring Break. These missed days are factored into our payment structure. In the event that a class is cancelled, we will make up the class at a later date. 
Cancellation Policy :  In the event that your child wishes to discontinue a class, we require one month notice.  We will refund you your remaining balance minus the one month. Registration fees are non-refundable. Costume fees are non- refundable after Jan 1st.

Dress Code:

Our Dress Code is strictly enforced and can be viewed on our website.  Please don't hesitate to ask us if you have any questions.

Medical Release:
I grant permission that The Canadian School of Ballet’s staff may authorize necessary medical treatment, in an emergency, by a licensed physician, for my son or daughter without personal liability, if I am unable to be contacted in a timely manner. This authorization shall be valid for the full duration of the student’s enrolment in The Canadian School of Ballet’s Showcase, Kaleidoscope, the Nutcracker and after school classes.

MEDIA RELEASE
I grant permission to The Canadian School of Ballet to photograph and/or record my child on still or motion picture film and/or audio tape, and to use said material to promote The Canadian School of Ballet’s Company B, Junior B, Mini B, Showcase, Kaleidoscope, the Nutcracker and after school dance classes through the media of television, film, radio, print, social media or other electronic media. I further waive any claim to remuneration for use of audio-visual material recorded for this purpose and I understand that this material remains the property of The Canadian School of Ballet.

Covid Procedures:

Please do NOT attend your dance class if you are feeling sick.  We ask that you stay home in order to prevent the spread of any type of illness at the studio. 

The Canadian School of Ballet will follow all guidelines provided by WorkSafe BC in order to keep our environment as safe and clean as possible for our dancers and instructors.

By clicking accept you agree that The Canadian School of Ballet cannot be held responsible for any sickness that may occur including COVID -19.  You will be attending at your own risk.  We will continue to adjust to all guidelines in the event that they change.
