Studio Policies

•No student should be in the studio unless enrolled in that class.
•Always arrive on time. If your child is 15 minutes late, they will not be able to participate in class (they are welcome to watch)
•Students should be dressed and prepared for class before it starts.
If child is not in dress code, they may be asked to watch class or contact parent
•Please use the restroom prior to class
•Please change into dance shoes before class. Tennis shoes for Hip Hop class ONLY!
•No food or drinks of any kind are allowed in the dance studios. No Chewing Gum on the dance floor.
ONLY CLOSED WATER BOTTLES.
•Parents should not leave young students unattended in the waiting area before or after class.
•Please clean up after yourself in restroom, hallway, or studio
•No bulky or dangling jewelry
•Listen while the dance instructor is speaking
•Turn off and store all cell phones.
•Do not film or take pictures in class. If you need to film always ask your instructor beforehand.
•Always pay attention, especially when waiting for your turn. You don’t want to get caught slouching or looking bored. Do not sit unless you’re instructed to do so.
•Stay for your entire class. It’s always best to stay for the entire duration of the class. If you must leave early speak with your instructor beforehand and leave as discreetly as possible.
•Do not go in and out of the studio. Once class is in session, unless it is necessary, you will need to stay inside. This can be distracting to the instructor and your fellow classmates.
•Try your best.
•Always treat your teacher and fellow classmates with respect and courteousness. At the end of class, applaud and thank the instructor.
•Parents please keep your conversations positive in the waiting are with uplifting others. The negative or unproductive will be addressed if theses conversations occur in a complaining, disrespectful, or gossiping form. This is a Loving and Caring environment and we would like it to be shared with others.
• Parents – Public display of affection is NOT ALLOWED in DanzStar Studio (inclusive of entire area) due to the nature of our business working with children.
• We respect and are thankful for mothers who choose to breastfeed their children!! Our Director and Assistant have both completed this bonding with their children. Because of the nature of our business, we would like to provide you a private and comfortable area to BOND with your precious gift. When you need to breastfeed, please see Ms Star or Mrs Ashanti to accommodate your needs. Any questions, email us in the parent portal.
