Behavioral issues such as Bullying, being disruptive, using profanity, etc. will result in a parent conference. Parents are expected set a good example for each dancer they come in contact with while at Heather’s Dance Academy. We encourage each other! We build each other up! Ongoing behavior issues will not be tolerated and will result in being dismissed from Heather’s Dance Academy.

Class Placement and Observation
Students are placed in classes based on skill level first and then age. Our main interest is to offer our students proper training for each stage of development. Other important considerations for class placement are attention span, which includes stamina for a longer class time, the ability to take correction, understanding of the technical aspects of the movement, strength, the possibility of injury, and confidence. Another key factor in the decision would be that students who advance before they’re ready might become discouraged and thus no longer enjoy their dance experience. Your Instructor will make the final decision on determining which class your student will be placed in!

Parents and visitors are not allowed in the studio during class times.
Parents are invited to watch on Observation Days which are held several times during the year and will be announced on your Monthly Newsletters.
