As the global status of Coronavirus is rapidly changing, institutions are fast updating their policies. In order to keep pace with that changing environment, 4Stars Dance will observe and follow national guidance taking note of the following websites (out of school settings and grassroots sports and gym/leisure facilities) which are constantly being updated.

Staff with lead responsibility in safeguarding / health and safety:
• To check the above websites on at least a weekly basis to remain informed of best practice.

All staff and students to appraise themselves of:
• Geographical risk areas, in relation to their own recent travel
• Coronavirus symptoms (raised temperature, cough and shortness of breath)
• Key contact numbers in case of concern
• Within Public Health England

4Stars Dance have taken enhanced health and safety measures for you and our staff.
You must follow all instructions when attending classes at 4Stars Dance.
An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centres of Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and those with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable.
By attending classes at 4Stars Dance, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.

COVID-19 Policy for Bookings
The following conditions will apply to all class bookings.
• If 4Stars Dance are forced to delay their start date due to Government closures 4Stars Dance will amend invoices accordingly and parents will only be charged from the new start date
• If parents have paid for the month in full and 4Stars Dance are forced to delay their start date due to Government closures, 4Stars Dance will credit their account accordingly from the new start date
• If 4Stars Dance are forced to close at any point after commencement of the Term, our Force Majeure policy will come into effect
In the event of one of your class members contracting Coronavirus / COVID-19, you will all be informed at the earliest opportunity and your classes will be suspended for 14 days. Unfortunately, there will be no refunds available in these circumstances.

GDPR – For Covid-19
The law on protecting personally identifiable information, known as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), allows Public Health England to use the personal information collected by NHS Test and Trace Service.
Therefore, if required to do so by the NHS Track and Trace Services, 4Stars Dance will provide the contact details of all children and adults that have been in close contact with anyone that has tested positive for Covid-19 within the setting.
This is in accordance with Article 6(1)(e) of the GDPR ‘processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest’.
