What is the coronavirus?
Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by a new virus that had not been previously identified in humans. The virus causes respiratory illness (like the flu) with symptoms such as a cough, fever and in more severe cases, pneumonia. You can protect yourself by washing your hands frequently and avoiding touching your face.
How Lonestar is keeping you, our dancers and staff safe:
-Setting up a studio bi-weekly studio deep clean
-Making some short term changes to rules, policies, absentee policies
-Staying up to date and following school closures
-Keeping in close contact with our in studio nurses/doctors for best policies
-Setting Up Web-based learning systems incase needed
-Following the Boerne ISD recommendations for closure
What we need from you!
☝️ If your child has any flu or cold like symptoms DO NOT bring them to dance (this includes, fever (99.9+), coughs, runny noses )
☝️Upon arrival into the studio each night, dancers and parents should immediately wash hands with soap and water
☝️Any children/siblings not dancing that DO NOT HAVE to come (we understand this is not always possible) are advised/recommended to not come into the studio
☝️No food is to be brought into the studio, except for during authorized meal times
☝️Do not share food, water bottles or snacks.
☝️All shared items/spaces in our building are put away and off limits until further notice. This includes toys, crayons, pencils and the DRESSING ROOM.
☝️We will be limiting “circle time” and other activities that require the students to come in close contact with each other and barres will be disinfected between every class.
We will continue to provide the following:
Tissues, Hand Sanitizer, Antibacterial Soap, Toilet Paper & Paper Towels as long as they are available for purchase.
Please be patient with our staff as we are adding several duties to their daily routines including disinfecting between classes. This is time consuming but important for the safety of all our families.
