AGREEMENT TO "HANDS ON" PRACTICE
Because dancing is an activity using the body as a tool, it is sometimes necessary for instructors to make physical contact when correcting a child’s posture, stance or position. Whilst all instructors endeavor to communicate the correction verbally wherever possible, if the instruction is not understood by words alone, then in order for the pupil to improve and indeed to preserve their safety from potential injury which of course is paramount, it becomes necessary to correct them manually.
