Agreement of Classroom Protocol
I understand that the accepted practice and methodology of professional dance training includes forms of physical contact with instructors and other students. I understand that if there is currently, or ever would be, any reason why I should not be touched, or should only be touched in a specific way, that it is my responsibility to inform EACH instructor as to what is acceptable, and to discuss any related physical or mental issues with them.
Statements of Physical Condition and Personal Responsibility
I hereby agree that I am in good physical condition, and receive appropriate medical treatment and annual checkups, and have clearance from a doctor to participate in an exercise program. I understand that it is always my responsibility to communicate with the instructor(s) regarding injuries or illnesses which may impact classroom participation. I fully understand that I can choose not to participate in any portion of a class if necessary. I fully understand and acknowledge that physical activities such as dancing: dance lessons, group classes, dance parties and dance competitions, carry a risk of injury to participants. I accept and willfully assume such risks and responsibility for: any losses and/or damages following such injury however caused.
Photography
I fully understand that any photography or videotape taken during class or school activities may be used by We Dance Academies for publicity purposes.
Insurance Notice
All students are required to be covered by their own insurance and if an injury occurs it is understood that the student and/or parent and/or Guardian are responsible for any medical costs.
Liability Release
I HEREBY RELEASE, WAIVE, DISCHARGE AND COVENANT NOT TO SUE the We Dance Academies and any facility used by the participant including its owners, managers, instructors, volunteers, promoters, lessors and lessees of premises of ANY liability whatsoever arising out of ANY injury, damage or loss, disability, paralysis or death however caused which may be sustained by ME during the course of involvement with We Dance Academies. This includes: activities held in the studio and other dance related venues, any dance Performance, competition or rehearsal and ALL other We Dance Academies related: organized, sponsored, endorsed, promoted and approved Parties, Trips and Events.
This general release and waiver of liability is also binding on the students and/or their parents’/legal guardian’s personal representatives, heirs, and assigns. I further acknowledge that I am either over the age of 18 or this release is being entered into by my parent or legal guardian.
Participation in other Productions than MCBT/ CAE
All WDA students should not attend any other dance school, dance program, and/or dance activity outside of WDA, since this creates conflict with our educational methodology, philosophy, and style, and consequently creates confusion in the student’s training. In case of participation in any production/workshop/class/workshop without the permission of the Artistic Director, your tuition will be canceled without a refund and your WDA membership will be annulated with the written notice by e-mail.
Payment Policies
Registration fee is $40 per student with a maximum of $70 per family. Registration fee is nonrefundable.
Tuition is based on the entire academic year of August - May. The Yearly rate is divided into monthly payments due on the 1-5th of every month. All payments are equal regardless of the number of lessons or weeks any given month may have including December.
You always may upgrade your tuition plan and switch to more classes per month but not less than according to the plan you’ve signed up for in the beginning of the academical year.
WDA offers 3 payment options. Choose the option that works best for you. For customers wishing to utilize our online payment services with credit or debit cards there is a 4% surcharge to cover transaction fees.
Option 1: Pay monthly tuition with AutoPay. Tuition will be automatically debited or charged from your choice of debit or credit card on the first day of each month (not including August).
Option 2: Pay through the Portal on the 1st of each month. No additional fees will be applied for online payments.
Option 3. Pay monthly tuition by cash, check (payable to We Dance Academies).
Tuition Policies
There will be a late fee automatically added of $25.00 per month to the debit or charge on the account.
Tuition Payments must be made by the 1st of every month no later than the 5th of every month to avoid a $25.00 late fee that is automatically applied to your account.
You may pay with cash or check by placing it in the studio lobby tuition box, mail payments to:

The monthly payment plan is for your convenience only. If your child has an illness or injury and cannot attend class temporarily, tuition is still expected to continue to hold your dancers spot as the tuition rates are based on the fiscal school year.
If you are enrolled in the monthly payment plan, you must give notice by the 30th of the month in order to discontinue lessons so that you will not be charged for upcoming months.
Missed classes must be made up within 2 weeks of the absence or forfeit the class. No refunds or credits are given.
Checks returned for insufficient funds will incur a $25. Credit card declined transactions will incur a $35.
If an account is not current the student will not be permitted to attend class, participate in rehearsals or performances.
No reimbursements will be made for missed classes. All missed classes should be made up in class level equal to or lower than student’s own level.
You must cancel or change your scheduled private lesson appointment at least 24 hours in advance. You will be charged full price for failure to do so.
No refund will be made for a period of absence, illness, vacation or suspension.
