Dancers will bring their belongings into class with them and place them in their square.
After class, dancers will be encouraged to wait in the entryway of building or outside on markers, until their pick up arrives
Each class will end 5 mins early in order for faculty to disinfect all areas that have been touched and prepare for the next class arriving.
Cleaning and sanitizing
Full premises cleaning will be ongoing throughout the day and evening
Faculty will ensure that highly touched areas are wiped down and disinfected on a regular basis and in between classes. This will include, each dancer's square, handles, bathrooms, cubbys or hangers, waiting area chairs, stereos, barres and anything else that is touched. Teaching aids such as acro mats and props
Faculty and students will be highly encouraged to wash and sanitize on a frequent basis
Hand sanitizing stations will be placed in all areas, outside the studio (hallway), in each studio, bathrooms, waiting area for students and offices. Including sanitizer and kleenex.
Posters will be placed all around and outside studio and will be displayed in all appropriate areas and will be highly visible
All students are encouraged to use proper respiratory etiquette, including, avoid touching mouth eyes and nose. If this occurs, hand washing and sanitizing are encouraged.
Signs Of Illness
Please go over the pre screening questions, before sending your dancer to the studio
No one displaying signs of illness will be allowed to enter the studio.
If your dancer starts to display any signs or symptoms of being ill with COVID 19, the parent/guardian will be contacted immediately and asked to wait in their designated space until their pickup has arrived. The parent or guardian can text either the teacher or the student when they have arrived. The student is then welcome to leave and proper sanitizing will take place immediately.
If a dancer or family member shows signs of COVID, please have your dancer quarantined for 14 days and tested in order to reassure they are fine to return to the studio.
*Teachers can cancel classes at any time if felt necessary or if the teacher becomes ill*
We, as studio owners know that the reopening of the studio will feel very different this season. However, we want to ensure the safety of everyone around us. We want the dancers to return feeling safe. We look forward to being able to dance again and hope you are excited as well!
Stay Safe. See you in September!
