Roc Dance Contract and Information
Thank you for signing up at Roc Dance! To help you better understand your financial
commitment when signing your child up for dance class, we have created this contract
with all of the included costs you may incur at Roc Dance. Our goal with this contract is
to avoid any confusion and clear up what could be perceived as hidden fees. Please
feel free to ask either of the directors any questions regarding this contract. We are
happy to help in any way!
PLEASE INITIAL NEXT TO ALL OF THE FOLLOWING:
______REGISTRATION FEE
I understand that by signing up at Roc Dance I am agreeing to pay a one time annual
registration fee. I have been informed that this fee covers the fees associated with the
front desk help, the online portal software, any administration and/or website work.
Registration Fees:
• $30 for each child up to two
____Recital Fee
I am agreeing to pay a one time recital fee due October 1st. Fees are $65 for
the first child and $35 for each additional member of your immediate family. This fee is
used for the lease of the auditorium, programs, scenery, props, Recital t-shirts & the Digital download of the recital dvd, for our annual recital held in June. A $10 Late Fee will be added each month not paid.
_____PAYMENT
I have been informed that I can make a payment with Cash, Credit Card, or Check in
person or online. I understand there is a $25.00 returned check charge for any checks
returned by the bank. I also understand that Roc Dance does not accept post-dated
checks. I also understand should I pay in cash, it is my responsibility to obtain a written
receipt. I am aware that I can monitor or access my personal account information at any
time by going to www.rocdance.net, and filling in my login and password via Dance
Studio Pro.
____MISSED CLASS POLICY
I am aware that adjustments made to tuition are not made due to missed classes. No
additional charge is applied when a fifth lesson occurs, nor is there a reduction when
fewer than four classes are held due to a major holiday or absence. There are no cash
refunds or adjustments made on tuition, competition payments or any other purchases
from Roc Dance. If a dancer becomes injured or severely ill, a doctor’s note is required
within 7 days of the injury to post a stop charge on the account.
____INFORMATION
I have been informed how to find important information regarding Roc Dance events
such as performances, in class events, rehearsals, and class cancelations. I understand
that in order to see this information I will log into my parent portal or reference the
monthly newsletter.
____Courtesy & Respect
All students will be held to the highest standards of conduct. Communicating negatively
about anyone in or outside our studio will not be tolerated. Members are expected to
show courtesy and respect to all instructors and other students. Any student who
exhibits repeated negative or disrespectful behavior will be asked to leave the Roc
Dance. Roc Dance dancers are always respectful, supportive, encouraging and are
positive in spirit, attitude and behavior.
Roc Dance Contract and Information
____Dress Code
All students must wear appropriate dance wear and the required class designated
leotard to every class. Forgetting dance wear, shoes, proper hair and/or wearing
inappropriate clothing is not acceptable. After 2 warnings your dancer will be asked to
sit out of class. Please refer to the attire list given at registration and stored
electronically on your parent portal.
