Covid-19 Policy

Oct 20, 2020 09:09 PM

We are all aware of the new era, and the guidelines and changes that come with this and therefore expect all attendees to follow the latest issued guidelines form the government, and be aware these may change daily.

This below has been written in conjunction with our venues and therefore must be followed to allow us to run classes, it is subject to constant review.

• Guardians/Parents are not allowed in any venues, unless invited by the teacher. This is in line with Government guidelines.
• If you miss a class a refund is not offered. You can attend another class within the same term to make it up. However you must book this first.
• If we are forced to cancel in person classes we will move the lesson online and therefore not be issuing refunds.

• At the end of class, children should remain in boxes while the teacher opens the front door & then calls each child one at a time to meet their adult.
• Students in the Small Hall will use the right toilet. Students in the Large Hall will use the left toilet.
• If a child becomes symptomatic in class, the guardian will be called for immediate collection, and the child will remain socially distanced in a designated space until collected.
• If someone/the teacher becomes symptomatic within 2 weeks of a class government guidelines will be followed. If necessary the class will move online.

Our overall aim for the venues, is to do everything possible to avoid someone becoming infected while on the premises. This means that if someone enters who is pre-symptomatic but infectious the procedures in place mean there is a good chance they do not infect anybody else.

In practice this means paying attention to
- physical distancing (maintaining 2m separation wherever possible)
- commonly touched surfaces (disinfecting & handwashing frequently)
- shared air (maximising ventilation & use of masks)

We encourage an open and collaborative approach between everyone on site and ask you to let us know if there are other things we could be doing to help keep everyone safer.

For all other venues the above applies but you must all check the information you were given by the venue upon booking.
