This is a class combination of pre-ballet and tap. Pre-ballet introduces young dancers to the age-appropriate movements of ballet. Your child will have the opportunity to explore and grow, learn to listen and follow directions, create and discover, build relationships and self-confidence, through a proven curriculum of dance and music. Young children are drawn to tap dance for the sound, but in addition to the fun, they benefit with improved sense of rhythm, stronger balance and sense of confidence.

To achieve the developmental goals for this age group, the number of students is limited. Enrollment is for the entire session, regardless of attendance.The tuition listed, is the amount due at each of the 10 installments for the 2024-25 school year. The first is due upon registration, with the remaining 9 installments due on the 1st of each month, with the final payment complete on or before May 1, 2025. The full school year tuition may also be paid in full for a discounted rate.


Students in this level wear our aqua skirted leotard, light pink tights, pink ballet slippers and black tap shoes, with hair secured off face and neck. To assure quality, proper fit, and uniformity, these items will be fitted and purchased through our school.

This is a perfect class for adults who have had experience with ballet, as well as adults who studied as a child or teen, to gain the benefits of body and mind while enjoying the company of other adults. Students will improve balance, coordination, posture and self-confidence in an encouraging and fun atmosphere.

This class consists of a full barre (plie, tendu, dégagé, rond de jambe, battement) and center floor (adagio, tendu, pirouettes, petite allegro, grand allegro).

Dancers should wear clothes that allow freedom of movement. Suggestions include yoga pants and shirt or leotard and tights, etc. Hair needs to be secured off face and neck. Properly fitted ballet slippers are required and available at the school.
