This class will consistently exercise and explore the actor’s established tools and techniques in script and character analysis and apply them to performance in practice scenes. Some classes will be discussion-based and collaborative between all students as we explore script and character analysis. A majority of classes will involve students being partnered in pairs to perform scenes from TV, film, or plays. Following performances, students will be coached and directed to practice the execution of directability and flexibility within their technique.
This class is not a beginner’s class and will require previous training/experience. Additionally, this class requires outside rehearsal hours to ensure preparation for in-class discussion and performance.
