Audition for Warehouse Dance Project
We are so excited for auditions on Monday, June 10, 2024 from 4-8pm!

The Warehouse Dance Project was created to give students with passion and drive a more semi-professional experience. Students get to learn from professional dance teachers at conventions and from guest speakers from the fields of yoga, fitness, nutrition, chiropractic care, and physical therapy. Warehouse Dance Project dancers will have multiple dance performance opportunities throughout the county and adjudication at convention in January.

What are the requirements?

• Student must be age 10 by the audition date
• Students must attend Ballet twice a week, Tap, Strength & Conditioning and any workshops, classes, or rehearsals.
• There is a $400 fee due September 5th. If needed, the fee can be paid in 2 installments with half due September 5th with the remaining half due December 5th.
• Convention fees typically run about $375 and will be due October 3rd. Fundraising opportunities will be available.
Audition Process:
• Students should arrive a few minutes early and bring their dance shoes with them
• Plan on attending the entire four-hour audition process.
• Students will have a thorough warm up before actual classes begin. Auditions will include barre work, adagio and grand allegro, Jazz and Hip Hop combination, Tap combination, and Contemporary.
• Students do not need to have prior dance experience in all genres.

What are we looking for?
• Willingness to learn, try new things, and push past comfort zones.
