(This would be from after easter until June, when you are welcome to return)

Performances;
Christmas performance - 7th December
Full school show at Richmond Theatre - 9th March

Company class is for those who have trained with MV since they were younger and have a good understanding of dance techniques already built up by this age. If you are new to MV, you will need to audition for this class. If you've attended MV for two years or more and you meet the age requirement, we believe you should be ready for this class and no audition is required.

The class will aim to produce pieces of a high standard and will require a good level of commitment from students. As it is aimed at our eldest students, we recognise that they will have a commitment to their academic work and we encourage open communication as to when mock exams, assignments and tests take place. This way we can plan for any absences and make sure everyone feels positive about their involvement and prepared for performances.

Occasionally we may extend this class until 8.30 pm to allow for guest choreographers/one off workshop opportunities. You may be asked to stay behind to rehearse lead roles etc. We will always inform you in writing when this is the case.

Students will become more confident, independent and skilled on stage.

Many of our students who took part in these junior musicals have gone on to work professionally... and they weren't all in leading roles from day one at MV. Plenty started off with smaller roles or in the ensemble, working their way upwards over the years.

Production classes (full-length musicals) will involve a show fee to cover microphone hire, costume purchase or hire, chaperones at the theatre and extra theatre rehearsals. Please budget for £60 to cover the above due one month before the production.

A class for those in year 9 and above who are interested in performing in MV events, there will be one performance per term as listed below. (This would be from after easter until June, when you are welcome to return)

Performances;
Christmas performance - 7th December
Full school show at Richmond Theatre - 9th March
MV Awards Evening - June 2025

Many of our students who took part in these junior musicals have gone on to work professionally... and they weren't all in leading roles from day one at MV. Plenty started off with smaller roles or in the ensemble, working their way upwards over the years.
