Fierce Acro Class
Acrobatics uses strength and flexibility to perform gymnastic-based tricks. In this class, students perform conditioning exercises to prepare them for increased difficulty. It teaches flexibility, balance, strength, and coordination.
Acro dance is a style of dance that combines classical dance technique with precision acrobatic elements. It is defined by its athletic character, its unique choreography, which seamlessly blends dance and acrobatics, and its use of acrobatics in a dance context.
If following a safe, age-appropriate progression, any age is a good age to introduce basic beginner acrobatic skills. You can do it at any age, but safety is a key factor. It takes a patient kid, which makes the process easier.
Acro dance classes will not only work to improve your child`s confidence and coordination, but they also have serious strength-building properties as well. You child may not even realize they're building up muscle, but great upper- and lower-body strength is needed in acro dancing.

Grade 1 Ballet RAD Exam (1)
*Exam students must enroll in all Grade 1 classes*
The Graded Examination syllabus is devised to progress in difficulty from one grade to the next and a student studying the grades in sequence would be expected to develop a greater degree of dance technique at each level.
Students who have studied a complete grade from the syllabus will normally take an examination organised by Jason King where they will perform the relevant grade work for an RAD examiner, who assesses the artistic and technical execution of the grade.
As a syllabus devised specifically with children in mind, examinations are not compulsory. The entry level of a new student is decided by Jason King based upon the child’s age, natural ability for dance or previous examination passes.

Fierce Adults Lyrical
Lyrical is a Slow Modern/Neo-Classical style of dance incorporating classical technique with modern expressions and a slight contemporary feel. The class is aimed at the more mature dancer that can fully express and portray emotion and feeling, and therefore consists of mainly adults (with mature-minded younger students). The lyrical class is structured with a gentle warm up, followed by technical exercises, then lyrical choreography. Classical training is beneficial but not necessary.
Brigette Hodson instructs the class with warmth and humility. Dancers gravitate towards her elegance and grace. Her choreography is always inspiring and adventurous, catering to all abilities. The popularity of this class can be attributed to Brigette's past experience on the professional stage.

Intermediate Foundation Ballet RAD Exam (1)
Vocational Graded Syllabus
The Vocational Graded Syllabus is designed primarily for older children or young adults who are considering a career in professional dance, as a performer, teacher, or in another capacity. The vocational syllabus is technically demanding and comprises only Classical Ballet and Pointe Work. Students choosing to study this series of awards are required to be competent in the fundamentals of ballet technique and movement vocabulary.
Unlike the Graded Examination Syllabus, the vocational grades have to be studied in sequence and the student must successfully pass an examination at each level before progressing to the next. All vocational examinations are organised by RAD headquarters and instead of being held at a dance teacher's own venue, they are held in major cities worldwide. In this situation, the session organiser is responsible for timetabling the examinations, and it is normal for students to dance alongside the students of other dance schools in the examination room. As with the graded syllabus, successful candidates receive a certificate personalised with their name and the level passed. They also receive a report, however, for this series of examinations, there is a different marking system and assessment criteria.
Students studying the vocational syllabus are expected to achieve a high level of technical and artistic ability in ballet and it can take a great deal of time and commitment to reach the standard required to pass these examinations. Normally, a student will begin studying the Vocational Graded Syllabus after completing Grade 4 in the Graded Examination Syllabus, however some students will continue to study the graded syllabus at the same time. The Intermediate Foundation and Advanced Foundation examinations are the only optional exams in this series of awards. They are devised for students who the teacher feels may need more preparation before studying at the higher level, however they are assessed in the same way, certificates awarded in the same way and credits awarded on the National Qualifications Framework.

Fierce Contemporary Class
Contemporary dance is a genre of dance performance that developed during the mid twentieth century and has since grown to become one of the dominant genres for formally trained dancers throughout the world, with particularly strong popularity in the U.S. and Europe. Although originally informed by and borrowing from classical, modern, and jazz styles, it has since come to incorporate elements from many styles of dance. Due to its technical similarities, it is often perceived to be closely related to modern dance, ballet, and other classical concert dance styles.
In terms of the focus of its technique, contemporary dance tends to combine the strong but controlled legwork of ballet with modern that stresses on torso. It also employs contract-release, floor work, fall and recovery, and improvisation characteristics of modern dance. Unpredictable changes in rhythm, speed, and direction are often used, as well. Additionally, contemporary dance sometimes incorporates elements of non-western dance cultures, such as elements from African dance including bent knees, or movements from the Japanese contemporary dance, Butoh.

Vocational Graded Syllabus
The Vocational Graded Syllabus is designed primarily for older children or young adults who are considering a career in professional dance, as a performer, teacher or in another capacity. The vocational syllabus is technically demanding and comprises only Classical Ballet and Pointe Work. Students choosing to study this series of awards are required to be competent in the fundamentals of ballet technique and movement vocabulary.
Unlike the Graded Examination Syllabus, the vocational grades have to be studied in sequence and the student must successfully pass an examination at each level before progressing onto the next. All vocational examinations are organised by RAD headquarters and instead of being held at a dance teachers own venue, they are held in major cities worldwide. In this situation, the session organiser is responsible for timetabling the examinations, and it is normal for students to dance alongside the students of other dance schools in the examination room. As with the graded syllabus, successful candidates receive a certificate personalised with their name and the level passed. They also receive a report, however for this series of examinations, there is a different marking system and assessment criteria.
