Acro - Beginning
Acro (Acrobatics) is not-quite tumbling and not-quite contortion. It’s a genre that encompasses elements of both. Acro is all about flexibility and "tricks" - chin stands, cartwheels, aerials - and incorporating them into dance choreography. It’s a great class on its own or to augment other classes and techniques. Beginning acro is for younger dancers with NO acro experience.
Monday
4:30 PM to 5:30 PM
Studio A - Pink Room
Main
Ballet - Advanced Recital
We strongly recommend the study of ballet - including for students who study jazz and lyrical. It is like the "weight lifting" of many other genres. Students learn proper alignment and technique that apply to a lot of types of dance. Of course, taking ballet class for the love of ballet is highly encouraged as well!
This class is for older dancers with extensive ballet training, including pointe work.

Her goal is to create a fun and healthy environment for the dancers.

Jazz - Advanced
Jazz is a stylized genre that technically comes from African ritual and celebratory dances, but has morphed through the jazz age (Lindy, Swing dancing) and into Broadway styles. It’s foundation is built on ballet principles, but currently most often performed to pop music. It’s a great way to work on a classical foundation while learning upbeat, fun routines.
This class is for older dancers with many years of jazz training.
