Hip Hop will perform 1 routine in December (tentative date is December 15th), and if you choose to continue in the Spring Semester, dancers will perform in 1 dance routine at the Spring Recital (tentative dates are May 31st for Dress Rehearsal and June 1st for Recital at RSPAC).
Registration for the Spring Semester will begin October 28th and Recital Permission Slips/Costume Deposit Forms will be sent home the first week of November.

This class is a perfect fit for students who wish to pursue Pointe in the future. From ages 3-9, ballet classes help prepare students with proper Ballet Technique. At the age of 9, students have the option to join a Pre-Pointe class which will be focused on preparations for Pointe Shoes and teacher observation to determine the readiness of students' ankles and feet.
This class will not learn many dance routines; instead, this class will focus on correct placement and positioning of feet, arms, and body.
Students will progress through Barre Work and Center Floor Practice to improve Ballet Technique.
Please wear a black leotard, white tights, and Canvas Ballet Shoes.
This class does NOT perform in the End of Season Recital. If your child wished to learn dances in a more relaxed environment, one of our other Ballet/Lyrical classes will be a better fit.

Hip Hop (Age 9-11) Thur 5:30-6:00
Hip Hop is a fun, upbeat class. Students will learn Hip Hop routines that incorporate a variety of age appropriate skills.
Please wear a leotard ($15-$35), athletic bottoms, and Black Jazz Shoes ($30-$40).
Hip Hop will perform 1 routine in December (tentatively December 15th), and if you choose to continue in the Spring Semester, dancers will perform in 1 dance routine at the Spring Recital (tentatively scheduled for May 31st Dress Rehearsal and June 1st Recital).
Registration for the Spring Semester will begin October 28th and Recital Permission Slips/Costume Deposit Forms will be sent home the first week of November.

Tumbling (Age 5-6) Thur 5:30-6:00
Students will practice basics such as Rolls, Cartwheels, and Backbends. Students will advance to Limbering, Walkover, and Handspring skills as able.
Please wear a leotard and athletic bottoms (students may wear a bra top if preferred, but a loose-fitting shirt is not allowed since it will slide up during backbends). Students will tumble barefoot.
Tumbling will NOT perform in December, but if you choose to continue in the Spring Semester, tumblers will showcase their skills in 1 routine at the Spring Recital (tentative Dress Rehearsal date is May 31st with Recital on June 1st at RSPAC).
Registration for the Spring Semester will begin October 28th and Recital Permission Slips/Costume Deposit Forms will be sent home the first week of November.

Musical Theatre is similar to Jazz but more expressive. Students will learn Musical Theatre routines that incorporate a variety of age appropriate skills.
Please wear a leotard ($15-$35), tights ($6-$8), and Tan Jazz Shoes ($30-$40).
Musical Theatre will perform 1 routine in December (tentative date is December 15th), and if you choose to continue in the Spring Semester, dancers will perform in 1 dance routine at the Spring Recital (tentatively scheduled for May 31st Dress Rehearsal and June 1st for Recital at RSPAC).

Level 2 Ballet Technique (Age 10-16) Thurs 6:30-7:30
This class is a good fit for students who wish to pursue Pointe (or are already on Pointe) and have had years of "Ballet Technique" already (not simply a 30 minute Lyrical/ballet class).
From ages 3-9, ballet classes help prepare students with proper Ballet Technique. At the age of 9, students have the option to join a Pre-Pointe class which will be focused on preparations for Pointe Shoes and teacher observation to determine the readiness of students' ankles and feet.
This class will not learn many dance routines; instead, this class will focus on correct placement and positioning of feet, arms, and body.
Students will progress through Barre Work and Center Floor Practice to improve Ballet Technique.
Please wear a black leotard, white tights, and Canvas Ballet Shoes.
This class does not perform in the End of Season Recital.
This class is also required for those dancers that are pursuing a Competitive Program of Dance. Without Ballet classes, judges critiques almost always include, "keep working hard in Ballet class." It's tough to work hard in class, if you are not enrolled in a Ballet Program!

Students will practice Lyrical basics such as turns, leaps, and flexibility. Students will learn Lyrical & Contemporary routines that incorporate a variety of age appropriate skills.
Please wear a leotard ($15-$35), tights ($6-$8), and Half-Sole Shoes ($20-$40).
This class will perform 1 routine in December (tentatively scheduled for December 15th), and if you choose to continue in the Spring Semester, dancers will perform in 1 dance routine at the Spring Recital (tentatively scheduled for May 31st Dress Rehearsal and June 1st Recital).
