CDM Winter Convention 2025

Carolina Dance Masters will be having their Winter Convention February 1-2, 2025 in Charlotte, NC.
This workshop is open to all students ages 8 and over, as well as teachers. The cost is $96 per dancer/teacher. (subject to change once 2025 fees are released)
This is a wonderful workshop! I highly recommend everyone go. Many of the students you met at the fall at the CDM Fall Convention will also be in attendance.
Classes will be held in contemporary, jazz, ballet, modern, musical theatre and tap.

UNCSA Festival of NC Dance 2025

Encore Academy of Dance has been invited to attend the Festival of NC Dance at the University of the NC School of the Arts in Winston-Salem.
This is an invitation-only event where students ages 11 and over from dance studios across the state of NC get to go to the UNCSA, take classes, and watch performances.
The Festival will take place February 28 - March 2, 2025.
The Festival cost includes 5-7 classes and the Winter Dance Performance ticket for each attendee, as well as the NC Festival of Dance Performance.
Please register by Friday, October 25 if your dancer will be attending this event. Log onto your customer portal, choose register for classes, choose events, and register for UNCSA Festival of NC Dance.
This is a wonderful learning experience for each and every dancer involved. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have. I have been attending the Festival since it started; first as a dancer, then as a director.
No chaperones are needed for this event as the other teachers and myself take the students. Therefore, hotel fees will be drafted from your accounts when we return home from the Festival. Hotel fees and food, as well as spending money are your responsibility.
EAD Company dancers, please remember this is one of your Company requirements for all dancers age 11 & over in Ballet IV+. All classes and performances must be attended.

Dance Boot Camp II

At least 3 years of dance class experience is required.
Boot Camp will expose dancers to all forms of dance, including but not limited to classical ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, and acrobatics.
There must be at least 8 students to hold this camp.
Dancers should be dressed in a leotard and tights. All dancers need pink leather ballet shoes; black leather ballet shoes for boys. All dance shoes and clothes may be purchased through Encore Academy of Dance.
