Beg Turns and Leaps
Dancers will work on perfecting the fundamental techniques of leaps and turns, including proper body alignment, spotting, balance, and core engagement. Emphasis will be placed on clean lines, pointed feet, and graceful arm positions.

Pre-Pointe
Pre-Pointe: Prepointe educates them on anatomy and proper positioning of the foot and ankle and helps them develop a strong foundation for what is required in pointe class. A portion of the class is spent doing foot/ankle exercises and stretches, strenuous core strengthening exercises, as well as repetitious, strength-building exercises at the barre.

Dancers must be recommended by their ballet teacher to be enrolled in the class based on technique, strength, and consistency in class attendance. Pre-pointe is a technique class only (no recital dance) and must be taken in conjunction with the dancer’s appropriate ballet class

Petite Tap
Tap is a rhythm class, where the students will use their feet and body to create different rhythms to a piece of music, and often times to no music at all. This class will challenge a student’s memory as well as coordination. In a tap class, the students will typically do a group warm up followed by learning new sequenced steps. In this class as the instructor I will take my time with each student to ensure they are picking up the rhythms and sounds correctly thus ensuring that the whole group will create a cohesive rhythm piece when performed as choreography.

This class will perform at our Winter and Spring recitals.

Musical Theatre
This class is designed to bring out the inner performer in you while exploring the dynamic fusion of dance and storytelling found in musical theater. Whether you're a seasoned dancer or a newcomer, this class welcomes all skill levels and provides a supportive environment for growth and self-expression. Immerse yourself in the world of character development and expression through dance. Explore how body language, facial expressions, and gestures can bring life to a character and add depth to your dance performance.

This class will perform in our Spring Recital.

Level 1 Acro Dance Class: In the Level 1 Acro Dance class, students will be introduced to the fundamentals of acrobatics combined with dance. This class is designed for beginners with little to no prior acro experience. Students will focus on building strength, flexibility, and balance through basic acrobatic movements such as forward rolls, backward rolls, cartwheels, and basic handstands. Emphasis will be placed on developing proper form and technique to ensure a safe and solid foundation for more advanced skills

This class will perform in both our Winter and Spring Recitals.

Beginning Ballet/Tap
Beginning ballet and tap are introductory dance classes designed for students with little to no prior experience in these dance styles. In a beginning ballet class, students will learn the basic positions of the feet and arms, as well as fundamental ballet movements such as pliés, tendus, relevés, and arabesques, while going across the floor and center work.

Beginning tap classes focus on teaching students the basic tap steps, such as shuffles, flaps, brushes, and ball-changes while going across the floor and center work.This class will help improve physical fitness, posture, coordination, rhythm, and self-discipline.

This class will perform in both our Winter and Spring Recitals.

Tiny Tots Ballet/Tap
Our Tiny Tots Ballet and Tap classes are designed to introduce young children, aged 2 to 5 years, to the wonderful art of dance in a fun and imaginative way. Through the magic of play and using their vivid imaginations, your little ones will embark on an exciting journey of movement, creativity, and self-expression.

They will be introduced to basic ballet positions, movements, and techniques through creative storytelling, music, and games. These exercises will help improve their coordination, balance, and flexibility while building a strong foundation for future dance endeavors.They will learn basic tap steps, shuffles, and simple combinations, all while exploring the concepts of rhythm and timing. Tap dance also enhances their motor skills and boosts their confidence as they create rhythms with their own two feet.

The Level 4 Acro Dance class is the highest level, reserved for advanced students with mastery of Level 3 skills or equivalent experience. This class will push the boundaries of acrobatics in dance, challenging students with intricate combinations and elite-level tricks. Skills such as Back handsprings, tucks, aerials, layouts, full twisting somersaults, and partner lifts will be explored. Flexibility, strength, and conditioning training will be intensified to maintain optimal performance and injury prevention at this advanced level

Flexibility and strength training will continue to be a key component of the class to enhance execution and reduce the risk of injury.

In the Level 3 Acro Dance class, students must have completed Level 2 or demonstrate proficiency in the skills taught at that level. Continued emphasis on flexibility, strength, and conditioning will ensure that students can safely execute advanced acro tricks with control and precision.
