Ballet is the fundamental “backbone” of all dance training, is designed to develop the student’s technical skill as well as their artistic expression. Students will learn ballet technique focusing on coordination, balance, and proper body alignment.

Ballet leotard, short or skirt, ballet shoes or dance socks, hair in a bun are required to enter the class.

It is a beautiful fusion of dance and athletics, acro is not the same as gymnastics, acro we integrate music, expression, control and line. We work with an internationally recognized curriculum, certified teachers.

*Performance Dance Program is recommended to intertwine classes with similar programs. To provide a better dance experience for our students and increase their comfort zone and artistic level, students should take the following classes during the week:

In tap, dancers use specialized steps to create rhythmic beats and sounds with their feet. Students will learn basic steps and vocabulary through the use of repetition. We will focus on control of the foot and ankle while encouraging sound articulation, precision, and musicality.

Movement Introduction Ages 3-4 ( Ballet/Jazz/Acro)
This Movement classes introduce our youngest dancers to a structured environment while allowing them to recognize their own individuality and body mobility. We focus on coordination and rhythm, all introduced in creative and imaginative ways. Creating a fun and entertaining environment while learning beginners dance skills which will help them to acquire a lifelong love for dance.

While implementing ballet based vocabulary, many forms of movement and varieties of dance are explored.
Dance lessons naturally incorporate a wide variety of gross and fine motor skills while introducing concepts of musicality, tempo, energy, and level. Social skills are encouraged by learning to take turns, follow directions, gain an understanding of personal space, and follow the rules of classroom etiquette. Creative movement enhances emotional growth through imaginative exploration and the opportunity to connect with and release emotion through movement.

Se llama Danza al acto de bailar que puede desarrollarse de diferentes maneras, lo contemporáneo es aquello que forma parte del tiempo en que se vive, es una rama del Ballet clásico que otorga una mayor libertad al bailarín, el bailarín busca expresar una idea, un sentimiento o mensaje a través de las técnicas del Ballet clásico pero incorporando movimientos más modernos. Mientras que la danza clásica se basa en pasos estructurados y ya codificados la danza contemporánea deja lugar a la innovación y permite que el bailarín y el coreógrafo exploten su creatividad.

Dance is called the act of dancing that can develop in different ways, the contemporary is that which is part of the time in which one lives, it is a branch of the Classical Ballet that grants greater freedom to the dancer, the dancer seeks to express an idea, a feeling or message through the techniques of classical ballet but incorporating more modern movements. While classical dance is based on structured and codified steps, contemporary dance leaves room for innovation and allows the dancer and choreographer to exploit their creativity.

Contemporary is an expressive style of dance that combines a variety of dance genres. It utilizes both the strong and controlled legwork of ballet and modern dance’s stress on the torso and also employs contact-release, floor work, fall and recovery and improvisation characteristic of modern dance. The class allows for the student to be creative and free.
