AcroDance is a style of dance that combines classical dance technique with gymnastic floor skills and elements. While all dance is physical, this form is particularly athletic and has unique choreography due to its use of acrobatics in a dance environment. Acrodance classes will not only improve your child`s confidence and coordination, but it is a great way to build all body strength and flexibility through conditioning and stretching exercises.
Elementary 1 Ballet is STRONGLY recommended in conjunction with Acro 1 to reinforce proper technique, build strength and develop performance skills. Elementary 1 Tap and/or Elementary 1 Hip-Hop aid with rhythm and musicality, while Elementary 1 Jazz and/or Modern build strength, coordination and overall body awareness while diversifying skills.
CLASS REQUIREMENTS:
Students must in 2nd, 3rd or 4th grade for the given school year.
Student must maintain an 75% attendance record for the school year. Make-up classes should be taken within one month of absences to reinforce skills being learned.
If a student's attendance average falls below the minimum requirement, a meeting may be arranged to discuss student's participation in class and/or the recital to be sure the student is learning the necessary skills and can be successful in class and on the stage.
DRESS CODE - GIRLS
ATTIRE: Any color leotard, any color footless or convertible tights. Dance shorts optional.
SHOES: Barefoot.
HAIR: Hair is to be worn securely up and away from the face; short hair should be held out of face by headband or clips.

AcroDance is a style of dance that combines classical dance technique with gymnastic floor skills and elements. While all dance is physical, this form is particularly athletic and has unique choreography due to its use of acrobatics in a dance environment. Acrodance classes will not only improve your child`s confidence and coordination, but it is a great way to build all body strength and flexibility through conditioning and stretching exercises.
Acro 2 continues to build on skills learned in Acro 1 including advanced versions of cartwheels, handstands, walkovers and increased flexibility.

Studio North Dance Arts provides students with the highest quality dance training, allowing young dancers to build confidence, gain strength and reach their fullest potential. These classes provide open opportunities to dance for boys and girls ages 10 and older. Our Elementary 2 level programs allows dancers to attend one day a week and explore the fundamental teachings of ballet, tap jazz, modern, acrodance and hip-hop.

The length of class increases as the dancer progresses in age, interest, vocabulary and ability. Our signature introductory class for pre-school students, this program offers development in coordination, basic motor skills, musical awareness, and listening skills while helping students tap into their natural creativity in a stress free and fun environment. Through this program, boys and girls gain a sense of joy, accomplishment and independence while learning how to be in a dance classroom. Sharing this positive experience with their peers, students gain an understanding of teamwork that positively benefits and influences their everyday lives. Song, games, and basic hip-hop, acro and movement skills are used to help engage the students’ attention and imagination in class. Students perform one dance routine in our annual May recital. The class meets once a week for 45 minutes.
CLASS REQUIREMENTS:
-Student must be at least 3 years of age by July 31st of the given school year.
-Student must be potty-trained and must be able to attend class independent of parent (we will work with shy students who need temporary parental support in class)
-Student must maintain an 75% attendance record for the school year. Make-up classes should be taken within one month of absences to reinforce skills being learned.

AcroDance is a style of dance that combines classical dance technique with gymnastic floor skills and elements. While all dance is physical, this form is particularly athletic and has unique choreography due to its use of acrobatics in a dance environment. Acrodance classes will not only improve your child`s confidence and coordination, but it is a great way to build all body strength and flexibility through conditioning and stretching exercises.
Acro 3/4 continues to build on skills learned in previous levels, including hand springs, aerials and increased flexibility.
Ballet is STRONGLY recommended in conjunction with Acro 3/4 to reinforce proper technique, build strength and develop performance skills. Tap and/or Hip-Hop aid with rhythm and musicality, while Jazz and/or Modern build strength, coordination and overall body awareness while diversifying skills.

Studio North Dance Arts provides students with the highest quality dance training, allowing young dancers to build confidence, gain strength and reach their fullest potential. Our programs provide open opportunities to dance for boys and girls ages 12 and up. This program allows dancers to attend one day a week and explore the fundamental teachings of ballet, tap jazz, modern, acrodance and hip-hop.
Students are placed in classes based on age and previous dance experience. Our faculty continually evaluated by to insure proper placement. The length of class increases as the dancer progresses in age, interest, vocabulary and ability. In an environment that builds self-esteem and confidence, parents are assured their child will develop necessary life tools that extend far beyond the classroom.
A Ballet class is STRONGLY recommended in conjunction with Senior Jazz to reinforce proper technique, build strength and develop performance skills. A Tap and/or Hip-Hop class aids with rhythm development, while Modern and/or AcroDance class build strength, coordination and overall body awareness while diversifying skills. (Level placement in additional disciplines is determined by previous experience in that style.)

Our Senior level classes are designed to provide continued technical training and performance development for high school students. This program build on technique and skills acquired inIntermediate classes, mastering previously introduced skills while being challenged with new skills.
Studio North Dance Arts provides students with the highest quality dance training, allowing young dancers to build confidence, gain strength and reach their fullest potential. Our Senior programs allow dancers to attend one day a week and explore the fundamental teachings of ballet, tap jazz, modern, acrodance and hip-hop.
Students are placed in classes based on age and previous dance experience. Our faculty continually evaluated by to insure proper placement. The length of class increases as the dancer progresses in age, interest, vocabulary and ability. In an environment that builds self-esteem and confidence, parents are assured their child will develop necessary life tools that extend far beyond the classroom.
A Ballet class is STRONGLY recommended in conjunction with Senior Modern to reinforce proper technique, build strength and develop performance skills. A Tap and/or Hip-Hop class aids with rhythm and musicality, while Jazz and/or AcroDance build strength, coordination and overall body awareness while diversifying skills. (Level placement in additional disciplines is determined by previous experience in that style.)
CLASS REQUIREMENTS

Sharing this positive experience with their peers, students gain an understanding of teamwork that positively benefits and influences their everyday lives. Song, games, and basic ballet, tap and movement skills are used to help engage the students’ attention and imagination in class. Students perform one dance routine in our annual May recital. The class meets once a week for 45 minutes.

Student must be potty-trained and must be able to attend class independent of parent (we will work with shy students who need temporary parental support in class)

ALL Twirl & Tap students need a 3-ring binder for weekly handouts and a dance bag to keep their shoes and binder in. ALL items should be labeled with the student's name to help solve mix-ups.
