Acro (acrobatics/tumbling) is centered on fundamental acrobatic technique to increase flexibility, strength, balance, coordination, endurance, timing, body awareness, self-discipline, and confidence. Classes focus on proper hand placement and body alignment with emphasis on the muscles and flexibility required to perform proper technique.

Tap is one of the oldest dance forms in this country. Students are taught rhythms, timing, and leg/foot coordination done to various types of music. Tap uses the shoes with metal plates on the bottom striking the floor creating rhythmic choreography. Tap focuses a lot on musicality and percussion.

Jazz / Hip-Hop

Jazz is a technique-based style with a strong ballet background. Jazz dance is an exploration of style and presentation. It is sharp and fluid movement to create a visually technical dance and style. It is usually done to popular music. Classes emphasize musicality and body alignment, conditioning, stretch and strengthening, rhythm and stylization as well as fun and sass. You will learn body isolations, stretches, turns, leaps, and technical steps in this class.

Hip Hop incorporates a variety of old and new urban dance styles. The dancing represents body movements that go with the beat and rhythm of hip-hop music. Hip Hop dancing is very dynamic and helps the dancers improve flexibility, develop body balance, and coordination.
