Intermediate Poi (Halau Rate)
AGES 12 and UP
Prerequisite- Know all of your basic poi movements. If you have learned basics from other instructors (just like all dance forms) you may have not learned all of the basics that I require. So if you have not taken any poi classes with me I highly recommend you start with beginners as this class goes fast and I will have no time to teach basics.
This class will teach you combos using basics of the Art of Poi Ball Dance from the islands of New Zealand. We will have a warm-up for long poi and short poi. You will learn short combos using long and short poi. You may use your long poi ball as short poi balls for class purposes however a set of poi balls is highly recommended (set is 4 long poi and 2 short poi).

Please contact the instructor if you need to order or purchase poi balls (you may also purchase it online)
