This Judojitsu system will help you understand basic to advanced grappling principles. As you focus on footwork, hip movement and body control you will learn to apply takedowns and throws as well as submissions to apply into your BJJ game.

This class is for children under the age of 8. In it, we introduce kiddo's to basic concepts about how their body moves. They spend time playing games to learn how to do fundamental Brazilian Jiu Jitsu movements such as a front roll, break fall, shrimping. They also learn the basic positions of Jiu Jitsu. Most of all though, we make sure they have fun. At LTJJC "We love this sport", and the point of this class is to instill that love in children.

Join the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Self-Defense program at Lake Travis Jiu-Jitsu Club and achieve all of this and so much more!

Unfortunately, fighting isn’t only in a cage or on a mat. Sometimes that fight can happen in a dark parking lot, on a trail or in the home and sometimes it can happen in the blink of an eye and your response may be the difference between life and death.

The practice of martial arts not only hones our skills and techniques in self defense but focuses on one’s self-improvement and builds awareness as well as our ability to adapt in any given circumstance. It is both a great physical and mental outlet.

BJJ as a sport and a self-defense method differ in nature but share a similar goal; the ability to overcome any opponent using technique despite the size and strength of that opponent.

Come learn traditional BJJ at Lake Travis Jiu-Jitsu Club. This art will train you to employ striking, kicking (Kickboxing), joint manipulation, trapping, throws and grappling from a self-defense perspective.

The practice of self-defense is not only physical but also a situational and intellectual process that will benefit and enrich your life.

Dancers will learn how to perform fundamental ballet and jazz techniques with proper form and ease with the goal to eventually move into intermediate level classes.

This class is great for stretching and lengthening tight muscles. Stretching is important for people of all ages. One of the greatest benefits of stretching is that you’re able to increase your range of motion, which means your limbs and joints can move through a greater range, helping to ward off injury. Other benefits of stretching include reduced muscle tension, enhanced muscular coordination, increased blood circulation and higher energy levels. The instructor uses various techniques like "PNF", partnering, band work and more. They will also utilize strength exercises to increase strength in hip flexors, hamstrings, ankles and more!

Erin began dancing at the age of 3 in Houston Texas. She attended the fort bend ballet school starting at the age of 14. She then began training in the circus arts at 15 and is versed in aerial silks, trapeze, flying trapeze, triple cloud swing and contortion. Erin holds multiple state and national competitive dance solo and team titles both at the high school and college level, including an all American title from the National Dance Alliance (NDA) at the collegiate level. She danced with the ballet forte ballet company for 3 years and has done short contracts with multiple ballet companies. She has been teaching ballet and aerial for over 5 years now. In more recent years she received her BFA from Texas state university, and she has been working with visual artists creating art pieces that include dance and aerial in Austin.
