Other benefits of stretching include reduced muscle tension, enhanced muscular coordination, increased blood circulation and higher energy levels. The instructor uses various techniques like "PNF", partnering, band work and more. They will also utilize strength exercises to increase strength in hip flexors, hamstrings, ankles and more!

Lyrical is a fluid form of dance done to popular ballads and slower music. The dancer is taught to interpret his or her movement with feeling, motion and style. They will learn to tell a story or create the picture of the song. This style combines the fluid beauty of ballet with the more sharp moves in jazz. A Ballet or Jazz class is recommended along with lyrical/contemporary to build in technique. We do incorporate Adv Technical Elements so Adv Technique is recommended.

This class is a great way to increase strength in your releves, foot extensions and turning technique. Relevé is a step that builds a lot of strength in a dancer's feet, calves, and thighs that allows him or her to do many types of jumps and turns.

MS/HS Int Technique: Turns, Progressions, Leaps & Conditioning
This class is designed to work on strength, flexibility, and the 'tricks' of dance. This class will build off of prior knowledge and ability to develop precision and accuracy in technical skills. Students will also work on advanced skill combinations, multiple turn combinations and positions, chaine leaps in second, reverse illusions, leg hold turns in various combinations, among others. Improve your dance technique through this power packed class!
