Pre-Primary
Pre-Primary is for children that are age 3 by October 1, 2024 through age 4. This class focuses on the development of motor skills, coordination, and musicality and begins to introduce students to the concepts that form the foundation of ballet technique, in an age-appropriate manner that incorporates play and creative movement.

Primary B is for children that are age 5 by October 1, 2024 up through age 7. This class begins to introduce the ballet vocabulary and focus on the basic elements that form the foundation of ballet technique, while still utilizing play and creative movement to instill musicality and a love of dance.

Level 3 is for students ages 10 and up. Students take two ballet classes per week, to continuing to learn new steps and develop strength, coordination, and musicality. Emphasize on turnout, and the strength needed in the back, legs, and feet for pointe work continues.

Level 2 is for students ages 8 and up. Students take two ballet classes per week that focus on learning a large number of steps in the ballet vocabulary. The continued development of turnout is emphasized, along with strength in the feet, legs and core in preparation for the pointe work that comes later.

Level 1
Level 1 is for students ages 7 and up and marks the beginning of more serious training in ballet technique. Students take a 90-minute ballet class each week that focuses on learning the steps of the beginning ballet vocabulary. The development of the outward rotation of the legs - turnout - is emphasized, along with strength in the feet, legs and core.

Intermediate-Advanced Ballet
Intermediate-Advanced Ballet is for students ages 12 and up with at least one full year of pointe training; comparable to Levels 4, 5, and 6 in the ABT National Training Curriculum. Students take five ballet classes per week. The focus is on refining technique and strengthening pointe work. Intermediate-Advanced students also have the opportunity to participate in our pre-professional performing company, Ballet Theatre of Oklahoma City.
