Pulling primarily from the techniques of Martha Graham and Lester Horton, this Open Modern class includes a warm-up, across the floor work, and a combination. Floor work will be included. No previous Modern experience is necessary, but familiarity with Ballet or Jazz vocabulary is beneficial. This class is designed for bare feet. Dancers may wear ballet shoes if they prefer.

Open Beginning Ballet
For dancers who have never taken ballet before or those who have taken a long break, this class will introduce and build upon the fundamentals of ballet.  Dancers will get detailed feedback to help them find the shapes and movement patterns that lengthen, strengthen, and improve flexibility in a supportive, judgment-free environment.

Open Moderate Theatre Jazz
We recommend dancers have a familiarity with the fundamentals of jazz before taking Moderate level. Class includes a warm-up, across the floor progressions, and choreography in rotating styles. Dancers will work on strength, flexibility, and storytelling. Moderate level class progresses at a slower pace than Open level class.

CardioTAPâ„¢ was created by professional musical theatre performers and choreographers to adapt Broadway tap steps into an incredibly fun and effective workout. CardioTappers burn over 500 calories per class and improve strength, stamina, flexibility, coordination, balance, muscle tone, bone density, cognitive acuity & function, and of course, tap skills! We welcome people of all tap and fitness levels - from musical theatre professionals and enthusiasts to business professionals and people who used to tap as kids - even complete beginners! No matter who you are, this method meets you where you're at and pushes you to the next level, simultaneously providing an intense workout and opportunity to practice the tap steps used on Broadway. Open to dancers with all levels of experience en pointe or those dancers who'd like to take class in flat shoes for strengthening. Class will include barre work and center -for those with previous pointe experience. Dancers are welcome to take pointe class in flat shoes. If you are new to pointe, please consult Director Erin Crall Scott before purchasing shoes for the first time!

Open Contemporary
Each week of contemporary will feature a warm up, stretching, and across the floor progressions to practice skills and technique for that week's combination.  Combinations will change each week and pull from ballet, jazz, modern, and commercial styles to let dancers practice their artistry, floor work, and performance skills. Socks are the recommended footwear for this class.

Stretch and Strengthen
Using barre, standing, and floor exercises, Director Erin's Stretch and Strengthen class concentrates on full body strengthening and dynamic flexibility to complement and enhance safety in dance classes. This class spends a greater portion of class focusing on flexibility than the Sunday Conditioning class. Students are encouraged to bring their own mat. Recommended footwear is socks, bare feet, or ballet shoes.

A team of our talented faculty lead a class that helps young ones develop strong movement patterns, explore moving with props and through space, and interact with others in a positive and supportive environment. This class is the perfect introduction for young ones to see what dance is all about with the support of their caregiver.

Tap 5 (16 - 19 yrs): Our highest level, this class meets twice a week. Students will continue to hone their skills through improv and choreography.

Join postpartum specialists Taylor and Elizabeth for a joyful, supportive & inclusive parent and baby class. A great opportunity to bond with your little ones and connect with other parents and caregivers in your area! Bring your own carrier or use ours. No dance experience required, all fitness levels welcome. Babywearing support will be offered to ensure you and your baby are set up for a safe and happy time! This class is supportive throughout pregnancy and postpartum. All caregivers welcome! No Baby this week? No problem! Adults are welcome to attend without little ones in tow!

In tap, students will focus on discovering rhythms and making sounds with their feet. But most importantly, dancers will get the opportunity to make a lot of noise!
