Discovering Ballet Repertoire Age 12-15
Ballet repertoire is the term used to describe any dance or part of a dance, that is taken outside of the ballet in which it exists. It can also describe the list of ballets that a ballet company performs. If you are a YouTube ballet fanatic (yes!) then anytime you see a dancer performing a solo, a pas de deux, or a group dance and it is from a larger ballet (for example Swan Lake) it is classed as ballet repertoire. Often these dances (especially the solos) are quite short in length and are used to showcase a dancer's prowess.

Dancer must be age 12 by the end of the 2024 season, and be taking 3-4 Ballet classes per week.

This program focuses on syllabus, structure and proper muscle development. Exams are offered each season depending on the level.

Two R.A.D. Grade 2 classes must be taken to enroll in the exam. One class will teach the “Studies’ the other, the remaining syllabus. This class is suitable for ages 8-9, and for a dancer who is looking for a more structured Ballet program. Two R.A.D classes and one Ballet technique class is required to enroll in this program.

Pre-Pointe
A pre-pointe class is a specialized ballet training program designed to prepare dancers for pointe work. It is typically offered to ballet students who have reached a certain level of technical proficiency and physical readiness. In this pre-pointe class, dancers will focus on strengthening their feet, ankles, and leg muscles, as well as improving their overall technique and alignment. They will learn exercises and techniques specific to pointe work, such as proper foot placement, balance, and stability. The class will help dancers develop the necessary strength, control, and coordination required for dancing en pointe, which involves dancing on the tips of their toes using specially designed pointe shoes. It is an important transitional phase before dancers embark on the demanding and intricate art of dancing on pointe.

Dancers must be age 12 by the end of the 2024 year.

Hip Hop refers to street dance styles primarily performed to Hip Hop music. It includes a wide range of styles like breaking, popping, old school, new school and other techniques. Hip Hop is an ever evolving style of dance.

Jazz Technique 3 Age 12-15
Combines classical ballet and modern dance technique with contemporary influences. A strong emphasis on energy, rhythmical accuracy & style.

This class will concentrate on across the floor combos, turns, leaps and jumps.

Dancer must be a minimum of age 12 by the end of the 2024 year.

This class is not intended for beginners. Dancers must be enrolled in a minimum of two Ballet classes per week, and have previous dance experience of 3-5 years.

R.A.D. Intermediate Ballet class
R.A.D. - Royal Academy of Dance Intermediate.

The Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) is a UK-based examination board specializing in dance education and training, with an emphasis on classical ballet. The RAD was founded in London, England in 1920 as the Association of Teachers of Operatic Dancing, and was granted a Royal Charter in 1935. This program focuses on syllabus, structure and proper muscle development. Exams are offered each season depending on the level.

Dancers must take two additional Ballet/Vocational technique classes to enroll in this level. This class is suitable for ages 12-14, and for a dancer who is looking for a more structured & Disciplined Ballet program.

Dancers must have had 5-7 years of previous Ballet experience.

Tap is a dance style performed wearing shoes fitted with metal taps, characterized by rhythmical tapping of the heel and toe sounds. Tap is a great style for dancers who want a challenge and are very musical.
