Full Body Conditioning/ Flexibility
This class is a combination of deep stretching and body conditioning. The class is heavy in cardio to increase endurance for the dancer. The class includes several arm, abdominal, and leg exercises to strengthen the entire body. Strong muscles are vital for protecting the body and of course, improving dance skills! Healthy muscles are important to let you more freely and keep your body strong.

“Muscles and nerve fibers allow us to move our bodies. They enable our internal organs to function. The human body has over 600 muscles, which make up around 40 percent of our body weight.”

This class incorporates Therabands, tennis balls, foot stretchers, Stretch bands, ankle weights, and blocks to make the process fun and effective!

This is for our students meeting the level 2 ballet criteria. We will incorporate PBT (Progressive Ballet Technique) throughout the season as extra fundamentals are needed. Transitioning into the lyrical style will be incorporated to help dancers understand the much-needed fundamentals of the ballet style in all styles of dance.

Modern class includes the exploration of movement concepts like fall & release, space & time, unison, sequence opposition, and dance energies. This allows the dancer to articulate and communicate an idea, or story, or to express the emotions and ideas of the choreographer. This is for our high-level 2 and 3 students.
