This class is offered to Dancers in Middle School/High School and will focus on expanding upon the fundamentals of ballet, jazz, and lyrical while enhancing technique, strength, flexibility, self confidence. It will be a combo class of Jazz/Lyrical but will still focus on ballet technique through lyrical movements.
The lyrical portion will focus heavily on terminology and drills needed for a dancer to strive and grow while getting stronger with kicks, leaps, turns, jumps, and body alignment which is used in every style of dance. The jazz portion will focus on high energy performance to fun upbeat music while the lyrical portion focuses on softer music through movements that tell a story. This combo is great for dancers wanting to focus overall on their technique, flexibility, and musicality, all while learning grace through powerful and beautiful dance choreography. Two different recital routines within this combo.
