For beginner dancers ready to learn the basics of ballet, students will build on the five positions, pliè variations, and tendus, among other level-appropriate skills. In this class, we begin to learn the unique art of dancing for Him, beginning in a time of devotion.

Tap 1
(This class is ideal for ages 5-8) Tap 1 combines early basic techniques. Tap dancers frequently use syncopation; it is one of the most important styles of dance. The students will learn new terminology and technique every week that builds upon previously taught skills. It is common for students to stay in this class for a couple of years. This ensures they have mastered the material before advancing to the next level.

Acro
For Ages 5-8, 9-13. Acrobatics dancers will learn the basics of tumbling, floor gymnastics elements, and dance. Acro dance is a style of dance that combines classical dance technique with precision acrobatic elements. It is defined by its athletic character, its unique choreography, which seamlessly blends dance and acrobatics, and its use of acrobatics in a dance context—it pairs well with a ballet class.
