Tap (Ages: 5-7)
(MUST BE AT LEAST 5 YEARS OLD BY OCTOBER)
Tap classes are offered for all levels. Tap enables our dancers to develop both musicality and coordination while focusing on rhythm and sound quality with shoes equipped with metal taps. Dancers learn how to use their ears to carefully listen while using their feet like drums to create rhythmic patterns and timely beats.

It is strongly recommended that all dancers incorporate ballet into their dance training especially more serious dancers.

In this class your dancer will learn all of the basic, fundamental tumbling verbiage, body shapes, and positions to build a strong and safe tumbling foundation! There are no skill requirements to join any of our foundational classes. More emphasis will be placed on form & technique in this class. Any flaw in a tumblers skills can be traced back to their foundations, so this is the most important level!

Modern 10 & Up
The Horton Technique emphasizes a whole body, anatomical approach to dance that includes flexibility, strength, coordination and body and spatial awareness to enable unrestricted, dramatic freedom of expression.
Must be able to execute all of the warm-ups, Fortification #1 at Minimum, and must be able to utilize beginner technique with minimal correction.
The Horton Technique emphasizes a whole body, anatomical approach to dance that includes flexibility, strength, coordination and body and spatial awareness to enable unrestricted, dramatic freedom of expression.

Some of their skills will be taught and performed without major equipment and dance elements will be utilized within the acrobatic technique.
In this class your dancer will learn all of the basic, fundamental tumbling verbiage, body shapes, and positions to build a strong and safe tumbling foundation! There are no skill requirements to join any of our foundational classes. More emphasis will be placed on form & technique in this class. Any flaw in a tumblers skills can be traced back to their foundations, so this is the most important level!
