Acting on Screen
Acting promotes essential life skills such as literacy, public speaking, empathy and self confidence. Whether your child is interested in actual onscreen acting opportunities or would just like to learn more about the art, this is an incredible opportunity to develop and hone their skills. Actors will learn the techniques and tools to be an effective on-screen performer while preparing their own material. By the end of the class, they will have two filmed scenes that they may share with family and friends or use as performance reels if they are interested in on screen auditions. Additionally, we provide coaching and consultation to help parents learn how to support a child's interest in pursuing acting. New York All Stars has many students who participate just for fun, but we also train students who have appeared on screen in tv, film, commercials and print.

This class is recommended for ages 10 and up, but exceptions can be made for students with prior experience. Please e-mail us for details on exceptions at office.nyas@gmail.com
