Auditions - The Nutcracker 2023
Come Audition for our 2nd annual production of The Nutcracker ballet! This is an opportunity to perform in a professional level production with stars from The Joffrey Ballet Chicago.
Dancers who sign up will be considered for ALL roles (Corps, Demi, and Soloist) that are available to them. Audition results will be emailed to you by Sunday, September 3rd.
Participation Fee INCLUDES: ALL rehearsal time (even if extra rehearsal is needed), costume/hairpiece rental and cleaning, prop usage and maintenance, theater rental, and live performance photography of the dress rehearsal and is DUE September 5th.
Participation Fee does NOT INCLUDE: tickets, merchandise, flowers, digital recording, tights, shoes, make-up, and hair supplies.
Children's roles (ages 2-8) Participation Fee is $245
Children's roles (ages 9-18) Participation Fee is $295
Sibling discounts do not apply.

Join us for a special tour for families with dancers ages 9-12. Free trial class to follow from 12:45-1:45pm. Class will be ballet and contemporary based. Please dress in a leotard and tights, or two piece set of leggings/shorts, and a supportive dance top you can move well in.

Join us for a special tour for families with dancers ages 2-5. Free trial class to follow from 10:15-11:00am. Class will be Encanto themed and cover all creative movement basics foundation of ballet technique through play. Dress code is a ballet dress or leotard and tights. Children may also wear comfortable clothing they can move freely in if they do not already own dance attire. Please no socks. Ballet shoes are recommended, however, dancers may go barefoot.
