Tumbling I
Our introductory tumbling class focuses on developing fundamental skills and safe practices. Children will master basic positions like pike, tuck, and straddle and progress to forward/back rolls, handstands, and cartwheels - foundations for more complex skills. We emphasize correct body alignment, flexibility, and strength while creating a fun and supportive learning environment. Students will gain confidence, improve listening skills, and learn essential gym safety rules.

Acro and Tumbling II (testing required)
Students will learn tumbling and acro skills, improve flexibility, and develop strong muscles.
Acro and Tumbling class combines tumbling, dance, technique, athleticism, agility, and strength through games, activities, and progressions. It is based on safe and effective progressions that have proven flexibility, balance, and tumbling results. This is an intermediate-level class. Must test into or pass Tumbling I.

Its Bitsy - Tap and Jazz Combo
In partnership with Omaha Jitterbugs, Itsy Bitsy: Early Childhood program. Every Monday, young Jitterbugs can learn about the music and movements of the Swing Era. It is an introductory jazz and tap class. Students improve coordination and increase confidence while having fun!

Ballet II
In Ballet II, dancers will refine their ballet technique, focusing on turnout and correct body alignment in fundamental positions. We will continue to develop coordination and body awareness while fostering teamwork, confidence, creativity, and class etiquette. To build strength and flexibility, students will begin simple conditioning exercises.

Students must have taken pre-ballet or creative movement and at least one year of beginning ballet.

Acting and Theatre Arts
This class fosters a love of theatre by exploring acting techniques through imaginative play, improvisation, prop and costume creation, and writing. Students will develop creative problem-solving, self-expression, and teamwork skills while discovering the joy of collaborative storytelling. We will also delve into diverse cultures and communities through character development and performance, fostering empathy and understanding.

Lyrical/Contemporary
Lyrical and Contemporary dance styles are rooted in ballet, jazz, and modern techniques and are all about self-expression, storytelling, and freedom. Dancers learn about dance legends, explore basic movement principles, and discover unique ways to use their bodies. The curriculum includes modern and liturgical dance. This is a challenging and rigorous course consisting of conditioning, flexibility, principles of dance, and choreography.

Hip Hop
This is a fun, upbeat, and energetic class that explores the foundations of hip-hop culture and dance. Hip-hop is a vibrant form of dance that combines a variety of freestyle movements to create a cultural piece of art. Students build confidence, gain rhythm, and explore individuality through its three main styles: popping, locking, and breaking.

Ballet II (10 and older)
Ballet III expands ballet fundamentals. Students work on correct execution of turnout and placement in basic positions, continue to develop their coordination and focus on age-appropriate spatial and body awareness. Conditioning exercises are included in classwork to increase strength and flexibility. Sound technical fundamentals continue to be a priority.

Littles - Creative Movement/Creative Drama
The Little first dance class! Our youngest dancers engage in fun and energetic classes that incorporate dance, creative drama, art, and tumbling. Students cultivate imagination, creativity and social development in a caring environment. Students will grow and develop as they learn the fundamental vocabulary and skills associated with dance and tumbling . Dancers focus on building control over motor skills, teamwork, reading, and phonics.

Tap
Focus on technique and work on executing every sound with intricate rhythms. Students will learn dynamics, shading, phrasing, and musicality. This class is geared to challenge students with complex rhythms and movements. Dancers will move into intermediate-level combinations and progress with their overall tapping quality. Previous tap experience is required.
