Class Overview:
Our Ballet and Acro Combination Class is a fusion of two distinct disciplines, allowing dancers to explore their artistic expression and physical capabilities in a fun and supportive environment.

Ballet Component:
The ballet portion of the class focuses on developing proper technique, body alignment, and musicality. Students will learn the fundamental positions, movements, and terminology of classical ballet. Through structured exercises, barre work, and center combinations, they will improve their balance, coordination, and poise. Ballet helps build a solid foundation for dance by instilling discipline, grace, and an understanding of artistic expression.

Acro Component:
The acrobatics aspect of the class introduces students to a variety of acro skills, including tumbling, contortion, and balance. Our qualified acro instructors will guide students through progressive exercises that safely build strength, flexibility, and agility. Emphasis is placed on learning tricks, such as cartwheels, handstands, backbends, and partner acrobatics. Safety mats and spotting techniques are used to ensure a secure and supportive learning environment.

Combination Integration:
One of the most exciting parts of this class is the combination of ballet and acro elements in choreography. Students will have the opportunity to incorporate acrobatic movements seamlessly into their dance routines, adding a dynamic and captivating dimension to their dance performances. This integration encourages creativity and challenges dancers to push their boundaries.

Benefits of Ballet and Acro Combination Class:

Enhanced Flexibility: Acro skills complement ballet training by improving flexibility, which is crucial for achieving beautiful lines and movements in dance.
Strength and Control: The acrobatics component builds core strength and body control, helping dancers execute movements with greater precision and power.
Artistic Expression: Ballet provides the foundation for artistic expression, while acro adds excitement and flair to dance performances.
Increased Confidence: As students master challenging acro movements and incorporate them into their routines, they gain confidence in their abilities as dancers.
Fun and Supportive Atmosphere: Our class fosters a positive and encouraging atmosphere where students can explore and excel in both ballet and acro.
Please note that all students will be assessed to ensure proper placement, and instructors will tailor the class to suit the needs and abilities of the participants. We look forward to sharing the joy of dance with you in our Ballet and Acro Combination Class!

Attire: Light Blue leotard (no attached skirt or tutu is allowed), pink convertible tights, pink ballet shoes and hair in a low bun. For the acro portion of class, dancers will be barefoot and roll their convertible tights to their ankles.
