Dancers who are new to ballet or are looking to develop proper classical technique are encouraged to take this class. Tiny Tutus
A creative movement class for ages 2-5. The class focuses on developing an understanding of simple ballet steps while fostering a sense of musicality, physical development, and imagination. Students are asked to wear a leotard, pink or flesh colored tights, and pink ballet shoes (skirts optional).

Intermediate Ballet
Dancers with a familiarity of basic technique, rhythm, and vocabulary now begin to enhance their physical aptitude and artistry. Dancers are expected to be able to memorize combinations and hold their balance to work both on and off the barre. Students are asked to wear a black leotard, pink or flesh colored tights, and pink ballet shoes or half soles (skirts optional).

Advanced Ballet
Students with a well developed education of ballet technique, coordination, terminology, and flexibility are welcome. This class will work to develop articulation, transitions, and artistic discretion. Student must show strong placement in advanced ballet to be considered for pointe work. Students are asked to wear a black leotard, pink or flesh colored tights, and pink ballet shoes or half soles (skirts optional).

Pointe
Teacher will use their discretion to recommend students for pointe work. Here dancers will use their established ballet technique to work on pointe both on and off the barre. Students interested in this class should start by taking it without pointe shoes. This will allow the student to focus on developing strength, flexibility, control and articulation of the legs and feet to ensure a safe transition to pointe work.

Jazz Foundations

Musical Theater Team
This is a competitive Musical Theater class. This team does not require an audition to enroll but does require that students are enrolled in a separate jazz class for the season or have 2 years of prior jazz experience. Intermediate Hip Hop Foundations
Students are able to define and showcase groove within their movement at a standard level.
Dancers have a grasp on picking up choreography and are working towards confidently presenting foundational skills within it.

This class we will go over basic ballet steps, vocabulary and focus on improving technique. We’ll also dive into the world of lyrical and learn to tell stories through movement, using our breath and work on learning choreography. Dancers should wear a leotard and tights for ballet and bring an optional item of clothing to wear over for lyrical.

This class will focus on contemporary technique, floor work. and learning to incorporate improv. Students will work on storytelling, using different textures in dance and adding their own unique style and way of movement. Dancers can wear any dance clothes they feel comfortable in.
