Postpartum Recovery Class (Bring Your Baby!) March - April Session
This class is specially designed for new moms to reconnect with their bodies while nurturing their little ones. Join us in a supportive environment where you can bring your baby (under walking age) as we engage in a progressive aerobic warm-up, gentle stretching, and plyometric strength training inspired by pilates. This class focuses on adjusting bad posture often caused by nursing and carrying your baby, strengthening the core and pelvic floor, relieving strain from overuse of wrists and forearms, and building upper body strength to become a stronger mama. Enhance your overall well-being while bonding with your baby and connecting with other moms on a similar journey.

Lauren McInnes, who has been running this program from her home for years, will be joining the Skyline team as our Licensed The Music Class Instructor.

This a fun-filled class of singing, dancing, movement, and instrument play, all designed to stimulate musical learning! Mixed-age classes are developmentally appropriate and allow siblings to enjoy class together. TMC classes meet once a week for 45 minutes, in 8-week sessions based on seasonal programming and TMC™ library of 12 song collections allows your family to enjoy class for three years with all new music each session.

In these 45 minute ballet classes we focus on placement, alignment, flexibility and musicality through a blend of traditional ballet techniques and contemporary movement. Fundamental ballet concepts, vocabulary and skills are introduced through standard combinations at the barre and in the classroom center. Each ballet level is designed to be taken for 2 years in a row. As dancers advance through the levels, exercises will increase in length and difficulty.

Lyrical dance combines elements of ballet and jazz to create a soft style that emphasizes the storytelling quality of music. An emphasis is placed on grace and fluidity, musicality, and expressiveness to capture emotion through movement. This 45 minute class is aimed at dancers 9+ who have experience in Ballet and/or Jazz, and teaches proper body alignment, center of balance, and beginning turns, jumps, and floor work.
