These classes are for dancers who like precision and rhythm, physical challenges, and personal style and expression particularly with lyrically expressive songs. Exercises focus on increasing flexibility and strength, rhythms and isolation of body parts, and expressing personal style.
Contemporary: Contemporary blends several types of dance into its own unique style. It includes elements of ballet, jazz, modern, and even hip hop. Often compared to lyrical, there are similarities, but often times dancers that exceed in one, may not in the other. Dance with Me! (Accompanied by an Adult)
This class introduces the dance environment to toddler age children. Teaching Ballet, Jazz, and Tap. We will work on balance and basic rhythm in this class. I expect an adult to accompany each child. This is because we would love to instill a fun and comforting environment. We don't want any of the kids to be scared to come to dance. We will all have fun together. NO - parents are not required to dance, but it will be hard not to.
Recommended: Ballet shoes & Tap shoes
