SINGIN' IN THE RAIN SR.
We are SO excited to be granted the opportunity by Musical Theatre International to be one of the US Pilot productions of SINGIN’ IN THE RAIN SR., a show program for Ages 55+!

The "Greatest Movie Musical of All Time" is faithfully and lovingly adapted by Broadway legends Betty Comden and Adolph Green, from their original award-winning screenplay in SINGIN' IN THE RAIN SR. Hilarious situations, snappy dialogue and a hit-parade score of Hollywood standards make SINGIN' IN THE RAIN SR. a guaranteed good time for performers and audience members alike.

SINGIN' IN THE RAIN SR. has all the makings of a Tinseltown tabloid headline — the starlet, the leading man and a love affair that could change lives and make or break careers! In silent movies, Don Lockwood and Lina Lamont are a hot item, but behind the scenes, things aren't always as they appear on the big screen! Meanwhile, Lina's squeaky voice might be the end of her career in "talking pictures" without the help of a talented young actress to do the talking and singing for her.

Our senior community is smart, savvy, active, and passionate. They deserve the opportunity to tell stories, use their voices, flex skills, and learn new things. #teamBARCLAY is PROUD to launch the “Never Too Late Players” with SINGING IN THE RAIN SR.

The central plot follows the romantic entanglements of Hermia, Lysander, Helena, and Demetrius, while the comedic subplot involves the misadventures of a group of amateur actors led by the bumbling Nick Bottom. Meanwhile, Oberon and Puck, the fairy king and his mischievous servant, add a magical element to the whimsical narrative.
