We as that all students have dancewear that provides full coverage as dance movement can alter the fit of leotards during class. If necessary, an added pair shorts that provide full coverage can be worn. Hair should be pulled back securely and off the face. Ballet tutus, skirts, legwarmers, and jewelry are distracting to the student, and are not permitted.

Description: A perfect opportunity for adults and teens to begin ballet or for those who wish to return to the studio. Classes will emphasize the joy of movement while working on flexibility, strength, balance and grace.

Dress Code for Adult Ballet:
Ballet shoes (leather or canvas), any style leotard and pink or black tights (dance skirts optional), OR comfortable clothes to move in such as yoga pants and a T-shirt. Please pull your hair out of your face and avoid clothing with bright graphics or words. Our goal is for you to feel comfortable and able to move freely without distractions.

These pre-professional students are committed to multiple classes per week, including ballet, pre-pointe, pointe, contemporary, and variations; guaranteed roles in performances; have opportunities for additional master classes, workshops, and intensives; and receive discounts at local dance stores. Classes missed are expected to be made up at a level of instruction or one level lower and within the current semester. Company students are also required to attend at least three weeks (M-Th) of Ballet Wooster summer intensives.

Minimum weekly class requirements for each level:
Intermediate I & II, Advanced I & II – 90 min class, 3 classes per week required. Tuesdays are Company Night and are required for all Company members.
