This class is full
This class introduces the young child to musicality, simple floor patterns, partnering, mime coordination and strengthening exercises. Basic tap skills will be introduced for the 1st 15 minutes of class. Tap will not be performed in the annual performance. Dancers will only perform 1 ballet dance in performance.
Pink leotard, pink tights, pink leather ballet shoes and black Tap shoes must be a professional dance brand, such as Capezio or Bloch. These shoes have the appropriate metal taps that won't scratch or damage dance floors.

Pre-pointe classes stress correct alignment and correct classical ballet technique. The class is taken barefoot. A portion of the class is spent doing foot/ankle exercises and stretches on the floor. Students also do core strengthening exercises.

This class will focus on a blend Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga & muscle conditioning exercises for any fitness level. Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga is a combination of traditional yoga postures, practiced in the same order, and breath paired with movement, similar to flow yoga. It supports both physical and emotional health by strengthening muscles, improving coordination, increasing flexibility and increasing calm and well-being.

The week concludes with the campers showing off their new moves to parents at the end of day. Campers should bring a packed snack and water bottle.
