Ages 10+. This genre incorporates acting, singing lessons, styles and techniques from ballet, jazz, tap, and ballroom, all set to songs from Broadway Musicals. Musical Theatre 1 works on Jazz and Ballet technique, and includes singing lessons. Previous dance experience not required, but ok. Spring performance will include singing, dancing, and acting elements. Musical Theatre students often have character roles that appear several times in each production performance. Several musicals are studied each session and include opportunities for the group to attend live local musicals together. (60 min)
