This class is open to more advanced adult students looking for a challenge or an opportunity to dance more than once a week. This class is also ideal for advanced high school ballet students fulfilling their 3hr ballet requirement for the week. 

*Attire: Fitted clothing of student's preference; leotards are optional. Tights or leggings with ballet slippers are required, dance skirts and shorts optional.

Couples can master a skill-appropriate ballroom dance routine, or just learn how to move to the music! Both private and group lessons are available. Whether you're preparing for a special event like a wedding or have just always wanted to learn Ballroom, you'll be amazed at the results. We begin at the level that's right for you, so no prior dance experience is required.

*Attire: clothing that allows for movement, and covers midriff. Ballroom or dress shoes - Ballroom shoes preferred. If dress shoes, they must be flexible allowing for proper foot movement.

Beginning Ballet 1

Our Beginning Ballet 1 class is for both students who have had an introduction to pre-ballet and those who are brand new to dance but are old enough to qualify for this class. In Beginning Ballet 1, students will learn the fundamentals of ballet and barre without a strong emphasis on technique.

*Dress code: Leotard, tights, ballet shoes, hair pulled back

Beginning Ballet 2

Ballet Beginning 2 builds upon the foundational skills of Ballet Beginning 1 with more emphasis placed on correct technique and class structure. Ballet Beginning 2 is the perfect class for students who have completed Ballet Beginning 1 and have been advised to move up, as well as students who fall into the Ballet Beginning 2 age range.

*Attire: Leotard, tights, ballet shoes, hair pulled back

Beginning Ballet 3

Ballet Beginning 3 focuses more intently on correct body alignment. Along with continuing their education of technique, students are encouraged to begin to learn proper French ballet terms and their meanings, how to self-correct, and how to memorize barre combinations.

Beginning Hip Hop

Beginning Hip Hop Is the perfect class for high energy students who are new to dance! In this class students will learn the basics of popping, locking, tutting, and footwork.

Beginning Lyrical

Lyrical is a form of dance that has both jazz and ballet influences and has quickly become one of the most popular forms of dance. Our Beginning Lyrical is a class where students will learn how to emote and portray music through movement as well as work together as a group to relay their story to the audience. Students will dance to music that has lyrics in a fluid and emotion driven fashion. 

*Attire: Athletic clothes such as leggings and tank tops, dance paws

Beginning Tap

This class can be an introduction for children new to dance/tap or a step up in level from pre ballet/tap. In Beginning Tap, students will work on basic tap steps such as shuffles, cramp rolls, and falaps as well as further develop their understand of timing, rhythm, and music interpretation.

*Attire: Athletic clothes such as leggings and tank tops, tap shoes

Creative Movement 1

This class gives young children the opportunity to move to music and express themselves through dance. They will practice following directions, developing gross motor skills, and experience imaginative movement. Students will enjoy having the freedom to express themselves through dance and interact with their fellow students.

*Attire: Leotard, tights, ballet shoes. (Princess dresses are welcome :)

This class gives young children the opportunity to move to music and express themselves through dance. They will practice following directions, developing gross motor skills, and experience imaginative movement. This class is a six week promotional session with the option to continue enrollment through the rest of the school year.

*Attire: Leotard, tights, ballet shoes. (Princess dresses are welcome :)

Intermediate Ballet 1 & 2

Ballet Intermediate 1 & 2 builds upon everything that students have learned in their ballet training thus far. In this class, there is stronger emphasis on more advanced barre and center combinations, building skills in petite allegro and gaining strength through more complex adagio combinations. In addition, students will continue to further hone in on their technique.

*Attire: Leotard, pink tights, split sole ballet shoes, hair in a bun

In Intermediate Ballet 3 & 4, students are taught more complex and strenuous combinations on the barre, in the center, and across the floor. At this point in their dance career, more focus will be placed on gaining strength in the legs and ankles so that students may be prepared physically for the possibility to go en pointe.

Intermediate Jazz

Jazz is a technical dance style that focuses on strength, rhythm and flexibility training, and is formed from a combination of ballet and modern styles. Students will mainly focus on classic jazz technique, such as leaps, turns, kicks, showmanship, rhythm and body awareness. They will also learn jazz history and how the style progresses and changes with the times.

*Attire: Athletic clothes such as leggings and tank tops, jazz shoes

Intermediate tap Is the continuation of education in tap technique. is for students who have a solid understanding of the basics of tap and are ready for more of a challenge. This class will focus less on basic movement and more on solidifying crisp sounds, patterns, and footwork on an age appropriate basis. In addition to developing stronger technique, students will work on more difficult rhythmic patterns and combinations.

*Attire: Athletic clothes such as leggings and tank tops, tap shoes

Pre-Ballet/Tap is a wonderful place for new students to begin. In this class, students will learn the basic structure of a dance class as well as some fundamental ballet and tap moves without the expectation of proper alignment or technique. Students will learn how to work together, basic ballet terms, and simple barre and center combinations in a low-stress, fun environment.

*Attire: Leotard, tights, ballet shoes, tap shoes

We offer a fun, safe, and respectful learning environment for teens to thrive. These students learn to lead and follow, have correct posture in dance position, proper technique for lifting and being lifted, and recognize the rhythm and timing for each different style. They also learn self-respect, respect for their dance partners, confidence as they tackle new and different physical tasks, and social skills as they interact with their peers.
