Adult Somatic Dance
Are you ready to have more energy and feel more connected to your body? Certified Somatic movement healer Chrissy Pappas will lead participants in being present with their bodies through movement that is designed to allow emotional residue to be processed. Whether it's the stress of the day or a traumatic past event, somatic movement classes will leave you feeling more relaxed, calm and in tune with yourself. Practices utilized during class include intuitive dance, somatic postures, rhythmic breath work, dynamic meditation and grounding affirmations. It's a feel-good dance party that ignites your soul, and it may even set forth an emotional release.

You will leave class feeling anew. The first 45 minutes will be geared towards movement and the last 15 minutes of class will focus on decompression and verbal processing, if comfortable. This class is appropriate for all skill levels. Drop-ins are always welcome, no advance registration required.

Students must be 18 years and older. There are no youth participants permitted (i.e. anyone under 17 years of age). There are absolutely no viewers - of any age - permitted to stay & watch. To experience the full benefits of class, students will need to be fully present and having people watch will hinder the experience. Please wear comfortable athletic clothing. You are encouraged to either be barefoot or wear socks.

Adult ZUMBA®
This class takes the "work" out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. Once the Latin and World rhythms take over, you'll see why ZUMBA® Fitness classes are often called exercise in disguise. Super effective? Check. Super fun? Check and check.

This class is taught by a certified ZUMBA® instructor. Students must be ages 18 and older to participate. This class is appropriate for all skill levels - from beginner to advanced. Drop-ins are always welcome, no advance registration required. Please wear clean sneakers to class. This class is non-performance based, and do not participate in the spring recital. This class costs $10, discounts available with a punch pass. Punch passes are valid for one adult only (i.e. cannot be transferred between multiple people).

Adult Ballet Fitness & Tech
Have you ever watched ballet dancers and admired their strength and endurance, and wondered "how on EARTH"? Us too. Ballet Fitness is a whole-body workout based on movements derived from classical ballet, Pilates and other movement specialties to help improve muscle endurance; core, arm & leg strength; and posture. Exercises will focus on strength training and high reps of small range-of-motion movements. This class is appropriate for all skill levels. Drop-ins are always welcome, no advance registration required. This class is 1 hour and 15 minutes.

This class is suitable for adults ages 18 and older. Please wear comfortable athletic clothing (ideally nothing too baggy) and clean sneakers and socks. There may be some sections of class where barefoot, socks or ballet slippers (if you have them) will be encouraged. To minimize noise and distraction, please kindly leave any children and other family members at home if they are not participating in class. Classes are held in an open space ballroom, and any other movement and noise around the dance floor is very distracting.
